This fight has been announced, what do you guys make of it?

I personally think Warrington's work rate will be too much for Ceylan, but from what I've seen of Ceylan he is capable.

Pretty much the same as youve said. Josh will be a bit too much for Ceylan.
Its of intrest that Josh is now going the ibf route.
Aparantly a massive offer was made to selby a month or so ago for this date in oct. And its clear that Lee wants no part of Josh, he basicaly priced himself out of the fight. stupid demands were asked like 2 rematch clauses and if lee were to lose them then team selby had some promotional rights over the next 2 fights of warringtons.
Josh knows Lee doesnt want to know and now hes going to push this fight.

neither of them can punch so it will be going to the score cards, Warrington will probably get a dodgy decision. I think the main bit of news is the fact that frank warren is promoting a fight that isn't to do with the WBO (Warren Boxing Organisation) which blows my mind.

I'm pretty sure it's Warrington who ducked Selby, in fact his own team literally said they didn't want the fight lol

Thought Ceylan was banned? Decent matchup either way. Warrington should take it, though I don't think he's a world level fighter by any means

It's a decent Euro level fight though I feel either fighter would fall short against all the world champions in the division.

Cmon lets have the full story. His team said they didnt want it on that date in august last year.
The reason was, it was only 6 wk notice and they felt they needed more time to prepare. Josh was also getting married in this period. His team offered an alternative date in dec but selby said no.

Oh i dont know....whats he missed out on?
Apart from not getting a rematch with Ceylan i dont think hes done too bad.
On the ceylan rematch, i dont think it was so much thst lowe was beating him. I had it 3 up to ceylan altho i suppose a score of 2-1 ceylan would be fair. Lowe was starting to come on tho.
I dont think it was anything to do with how good a fighter lowe was.
It was more if how lowe conducted himself going into the fight, that put Ceylan and his team off.

ITs more a case of Warrington making a statement, rather than Warren.

So do I as I think he will Best Walsh, problem is he doesn't have a promotor of note. When I see how Carl the Queensberry stable is they should sign him.
