again, im shocked! first, the bookies had mayweather only about a 4-1 favorite over McGregor (when realistically the Odds should have been more like 20-1)......and now this!
i mean sure, canelo is a very good fighter........but stylewise, this is golovkins fight!!!

the way to beat GGG is Slick boxing, movement........and canelo is no Slick boxer. he is hittable. GGGs jab will do a number on him.

this will be similar to GGG vs Lemieux. a clear victory for GGG......and a beatdown for canelo.
These Odds are misleading IMO. i think a bet on GGG is pretty safe, especially at These Odds.

Canelo isn't slick on his feet but he is with his upper body.

These are the kinds of bets that make Vegas a lot of money. Everyone thinks this is free for GGG (Juicy odds for GGG they think) but Canelo is really good, much better than some people give him credit for.

    I'm going in on Canelo.

I agree with Unitas. I don't think Canelo will be able to handle GGG's jab, and if he can't handle that, he's doomed.

If this fight was in Kazakhstan with local judges and ref the odds would not be close.

    I'm scared! :qmiedo:

I bet on Kovalev and even when he won they gave Ward the win.
I bet on Floyd and Conor nearly kicked his ass.

Imma not going to do this to my man Golovkin!

Thats ok.. It makes sense.. Canelo waited till GGG was older, hes the young lion here.. Although I dont think thats gonna help him much and GGG takes it anyways because of his jab and overall abilities, power, parrying etc.. Wants it more.. However Canelo does have a chance.. I keep saying this over and over again.. If it wouldve been when it shouldve been Canelo wouldve gotten stopped.. Now its an even fight with the edge going to GGG.. Canelos combos are pretty solid nowadays plus on top of that hes gonna have the judges on his side.. Hes Oscars main cashcow and that will help him a lot if it goes to the cards.. GGG needs to KO him to get the win IMO.. If it goes to the cards.. I dont know..

Actually the odds shifted right after the Jacobs fight ... and have only shifted slightly since then.

    September 2016:

    Golovkin 2/7
    Canelo 7/2

    Right before Jacobs fight:

    Golovkin 1/3
    Canelo 3/1

    Right after Jacobs fight:

    Golovkin 4/7
    Canelo 13/8

    Now:

    Golovkin 4/6
    Canelo 6/4

I'm betting on GGG. He is the far superior fighter to Canelo in almost all departments IMO.

The disparity between him and Canelo is closer than Mayweather and McGregor but I still think Golovkin takes it 80% of the time. I'll gladly take -150 on GGG, although I'll probably take him by KO at + money.
