Why did Floyd duck Manny in 2009/10?

He says that it wasn't their fault the first time and that they cooperated the second time. Starting at 2:35. At approx. 6:00 when asked why he accused Floyd of not having the balls to take the fight, Roach responded by saying that Floyd avoided it because Pac was in his prime and Floyd didn't want to take that chance. Then he immediately contradicts himself by saying that he is sure that both fighters wanted to make that fight happen. So the video title is misleading.

 

So you just blatantly left out where he said.. Blame both guys... But the 1st negotiation was kind of our fault. You have an agenda.

 

Yes, I remember the line of excuses coming out of Arums mouth. Afraid of needles, but has tattoos. Doesn't want to deplete himself by giving blood before fight, but had to give blood before fight for other tests anyway. It was endless. And the media smeer campaign on Floyd was in full force.

It was great when Pac later insisted on random blood testing for one of his other fights also.

 

I don't have any agenda whatsoever. If indeed I did miss something it's because of the constant annoying background noise, the extremely ridiculously low volume and Roach's almost undecipherable pronunciation which I had to struggle with during the entire video. In fact, I hesitated in even viewing it because of his distorted speech but decided to make a special effort. So if I did miss something it wasn't with the malicious intent that you are so eager to ascribe. Can you please provide the exact time where Roach says what you claim as I provided times? Thanx!

 

The fact that Pac was so good Floyd was convinced he must be on PEDs just shows what it is. Floyd didn't ask all his previous opponents to take the test.

Pac agreed to undergo enough testing that would ensure he wasn't cheating, but his pride prevented him from bending over for Floyd all the way. That was a mistake and he should have just swallowed his pride and taken the fight. However, in his shoes I don't think I would have either.

Floyd should have just taken the fight when Pac already agreed to undergo unprecedented levels of random blood and urine testing, even if it wasn't all the way what Floyd wanted. But Floyd was playing mind games with that **** too.

 

But Floyd is black thug style personality so majority won't believe. Manny is "poor" Asian so everybody likes to believe that.

i'm white from Northern Europe,i don't care about colors jack ****. But this is the world we are living.

It would be interesting to see Floyd against somebody from middle east.


We judge based on which one we like more.especially if it's hate/love.

I believe Manny is dirty and i believe the evidence. Nothing to do wich one i like more.

Manny was like mini hulk in Cotto days and after. Didn't lose any speed.

Bob Arum only wanted when it generated enough money and Pac could get bigger and make more $$$ for Arum.

Pac is Arum slave basically. Fight who Arum wants and when. Pac probably wanted to fight Floyd. But Arum didn't want to lose $$$$.

As Great Pac is. After Floyd beat Pac,nobody almost care Pac anymore,and is not megastar anymore.

Pac is ATG and top 40-50 maybe. Great fighter with amazing speed and power. In prime would give anybody problems including at 147pounds.

I don't know, ask Freddy Roach why they walked out from negotiation after they've came to an agreement days prior.
