Wilder is neither a draw or a role model. He is however undefeated which is something his good ol' pals at the WBC have really helped him with.

AJ doesn't have a fight for the fall; Pulev doesn't want it.

Wilder has nothing announced and the WBC says it will make Stiverne wait if there's a unification with AJ.

AJ needs to man up and make this fight for November.

What about our old friends over at the WBA? If the IBF clear Joshua to unify whilst Pulev tries to unify his nuts then they might still throw a spanner in the works.

Is this finally acceptance by the WBC that their Alabumma champion who struggles to draw flies in his own home town, is now being fed to AJ, and is selling his belt finally?

Its about time! Its long overdue that such a mediocre fighter who has been holding a major belt hostage is actually made to fight someone better than Stiverne. For Gods sake!

The WBA hasn't raised a peep so far. They know their guy is in line after Pulev, should that ever happen.

The sanctioning fees from unification far exceed what they'd get off a WBA mandatory for AJ (which they'll get later anyway from the AJ vs. Wilder winner), so it's a bigger win for them to allow unification.

Heck, make Ortiz vs. Pulev (if he will) or Stiverne on the undercard for a 'unified' mandatory No. 1 challenger. Should be enough money floating around from a heavyweight unification to make everybody happy.

Not a chance Ortiz and Pulev make a fight now they're mandos without doing ****. Neither is keen to cash out ahead of an AJ payday lest they get a shot at vacant title.

I'd also see Parker like to get in on the action if he can get Hughie Fury off his back.

All I'm saying is that AJ and Wilder are free at the moment and some effort should be made to make the fight.

If Pulev was truly keen on fighting AJ, he wouldn't be saying he can't fight without a 4 month training camp. He might be willing to take an alternative route.
