Even Conor's own fans must hate Conor if they wanted that beating to go on.

He ran like a dog, referee got it spot on, well played! Could have been a lot more serious in there, could have died if Floyd was in his prime.

We don't fully know because we didn't see his ceiling. He wasn't really pushed in that match. Just a guess though I'd have to say

    (147)
    Thurman
    Crawford
    Porter
    Spence (probably)
MAYBE Brook (I don't think he can compete at 147 anymore)
    MAYBE Pacquiao
Slight chance to Egidijus Kavaliauskas because of his power but I don't know enough about him to favor him.

    (154)
Andrade if he is on form
    Jermell Charlo
    Maybe Trout
    Cotto
    Maybe Hurd

I did it in order of most likely to least per division.

Medical professional tells you he sustained minor brain damage and your first thought is to say the ref could have let the beating continue?

A mild traumatic brain injury is just a concussion, right?

I guess there aren't a lot of concussions in MMA, if people quit by tapping out while getting their arm twisted.

But concussions are common in boxing. Every time someone is staggered by a blow to head, he's suffered a mild concussion.

He suffered a concussion. Everyone who gets punched in the head, is staggered and falls down in a boxing match suffers a mild concussion. That's what the stagger signifies.

Fights aren't typically stopped when someone staggers.

It was an early stoppage, to me.

So few fights in MMA apparently end with someone getting punched in the head and staggered that the MMA doctor was surprised to see someone with a concussion.

Just shows how quickly MMA fights are stopped.

Note that Dana White's 6.5M is the worldwide PPV sales ...
    So the comparison is:

MayMac did just over 4M in the US, 6.5M worldwide ...
MayPac did 4.6M in the US, 5.5M worldwide ...

I suggest that the higher worldwide sales is due to British fans making up most of the 2.5M, but note that they got it cheaper at only GBP 19.95.

So total ppv revenue is close or perhaps slightly below MayPac.

The framing is a bit sensationalist but yeah, his wobbling was due to being hurt, not just fatigue.

Great numbers for them. The sad thing is that Canelo-GGG will be lucky to do 1/4 of that number.

What a let down by the US fans then if MayPac did more in the US. I thought 6.5mil was for US, guess not lol, so this fight was pretty much the same PPV revenue as MayPac, with all the hype and promotion for it, that's disappointing. MayPac had zero Promotion.

Just goes to show how desperate people were to put an L on Mayweather's record, they've been waiting over 10 years for it, they got so desperate they pinned their hopes on an MMA fighter, and Floyd made them pay every step of the way.

    Tragic :D

In boxing your opponent doesn't follow you to the canvas with punches and elbows after they've knocked you down. There have been plenty of prolonged beatings in MMA that were beyond disgraceful. Watch the sport before talking out of your ass.
