Look, Margarito was winning on most scorecards, the decision itself was fair, Jones was using his head a lot fighting like a wild man, quite frankly the doctor should have stopped it after the cut happened in the 2nd, this was Cuadras-Sor Rungvisai-ish, it wasn't the end of the world.

 

Why shouldn't it be? Kovalev getting punched in the ****ing balls and Ward winning by bull**** ballshot stoppage was brushed aside, that was two shot to **** washed up old fighters in there tonight fighting in Mexico, one a never was curtain jerker from the US, the other a formerly great Mexican star, that fans love regardless of his checkered past, why should it be a shock? I've seen 12 round shutouts here go the opposite direction, I've seen guys DQ'd for KOing someone, I've seen fights stopped on low blows, I've seen fights stopped on rabbit punch KO's all in the last few months. And those were on PPV cards and big time TV cards, and no one cared, and you think everyone is going to lose their **** because two old has beens had a controversial fight at the wee hours of the morning on some rinky dink Spanish channel?

Pinoy and I had him up by a round, a few other people had Jones up by a round, it was close, it was no Jones washout. Maybe the time keeper legit got confused due to all of the goddamn shenanigans going on with Jones tape, those mother****ers couldn't keep that tape from coming loose no matter how hard they tried, that and the time keeper being ****ed up was on them. Jones was leading with his head fighting like a wild man, he was being very reckless in there, and if the ref legit thought that the cut was caused by a head clash, then he'd probably seen enough.

So if there's a few reasonable explanations for the first two complaints you have, then that leaves the time the ref stopped the fight, fine, that was convenient for Margarito, but like I said earlier, Cuadras and Mikey know all about convenient go to the scorecard TD's.
