Actually that wasn't your point but to your question, the man is a long way from being broke. I haven't read anywhere that he has ever filed for bankruptcy. He hasn't sold off any of his properties because he couldn't afford them. From all the information I have gathered, the man is moving forward and doing quite well in his endeavors.
Didn't he just have a big bill with the IRS? Why is he selling off a lot of his cars if he is that wealthy?
Yeah he did, but sometimes people have money invested in different ventures that they don't wanna move. His cash flow was probably at a level where he couldn't put his hands on thirty million in cash because that's what the IRS wants. That don't indicate that he is broke by a long shot. The bulk of his money was tied up and he knew he had this big fight coming up and he wanted to get an extension from the IRS until after the fight. As for the cars, sometimes he probably just gets tired of them and sells them and then buys another one. I don't think that he is attached to his cars like that. It's just a hobby, he might sell three or four and a month later go buy five. That don't mean nothing as with the watches. Trump has filed bankruptcy three or four times but he is still worth about ten billion and still building hotels. That's how the big boys roll. Now I will tell you who's broke, Allen Iverson is broke.
So he'd be fighting him for fun? He don't need the money and probably won't get 100 million for that fight.. And if he wins, people will just say her dragged GGG down just to bash his legacy.. Like he dragged a super green Canelo down 2 pounds, or like he dragged a limited Hatton up to WW, or like he dragged Marquez up 3 weight classes? It's always something.. Now you're asking him to drag a career MW to 154...smh
Floyd has campaigned at 154 a few times, so it'd be nothing new to bring GGG down. Besides, you're right, it's always something because Floyd needs every advantage going.
Yeah 4 whole times that he didn't even make weight for.. 3 of those are record breaking fights.. Serious questions.. Do you want him to lose? And do you want him to lose just because he's old or his opponent was so much bigger than him? That's what it sound like when people still want him to fight GGG...lol
Hope he's done personally. If he were to comeback in a year or so and were to take a loss it's going to be a comparison to when Jordan played those couple of years with the Wizards, a period of his career that will be looked past and forgiven.
I never stated that Floyd was worth a billion although it has been stated that after this fight he will have earned a billion dollars. Your statement alludes to the fact that you don't know squat about finance period let alone high finance. Say for instance you might be worth a couple thousand dollars, it would be hard for you get a hold of five hundred dollars cash. That's breaking it down to your level, you can understand that can't you? lol
Maybe they might provide at least a sparring session for entertainment purposes so we can more or less get a feel of how it might have gone.
Which is why he always has money problems... Some love to believe that he's this incredible businessman OUTSIDE of boxing. Truth is, he acts like a lottery winner who has a week left to live.
