It depends on the fighter. Oscar's plan was to wait as long as possible for Golovkin to get old, so he put a rematch clause into the contract for insurance, not to mention Oscar owns the judges, referee, boxing commission, Bob Bennett........................EVERYONE KNOWS THAT GOLOVKIN WILL HAVE TO KNOCK ALVAREZ OUT TO GET A DRAW AND THAT'S EVERYONE! Why is that? From years of experience from seeing corruption in Vegas scoring of fights, so much so that there was an FBI investigation into fight fixing in Vegas, bribing of judges, etc., I can produce the Judd Beristein letter to show proof of the record for those who think boxing is on the level. Vegas is not the only place where fighters get cheated, but it seems to happen there more often.............go back and watch Bob Bennett lie live on HBO! It's incredible! GGG is old but he's a true MW whereas Canelo doesn't really have that experience at 160 so it's a wash in terms of advantages.

 

i have absolutely no doubt that i know more about boxing, including proper scoring, than any judge currently working, so how a judge sees the fight never factors into who i think won the fight. there is no way ggg has slid enough for me not to give canelo credit if he should happen to win. for the last 2 years, everybody outside of isal and kush have been going on about how canelo stands no chance whatsoever and all that time weve known ggg's age. at some point you should have changed your prediction if you thought his age would be a factor and quit saying canelo wont go 6.

 

people started saying GGG looked vulnerable after the Brook fight. Not only 2 or 3 people but a lot of people. After the Jacobs fight a lot of people said GGG looked like he was getting old.
