The CW tournament kicks off on Saturday with no U.S. TV coverage and little to no press at least that I am aware of. Underwhelming start to a potentially great tournament being ignored by American media. On the bright side with no American coverage or involvement the tournament just might be free of massive corru0tion. Actually I just cheered myself up.
USTV boycotts so very many good fights. Usyk Vs. Huck should be a good fight, although Usyk should out class Huck, there will be plenty of action. Damn, why couldn't this fight have been on the undercard of Golovkin/Alvarez? Instead we pay hard cash for an undercard that stinks! We have missed so very many good fights over the years, instead we all too often see the house fighter fighting a bum.....................when the bum sometimes wins, the crooked officials give the house fighter the decision.....................Why do we miss so many good fights?
Still can't believe there isn't going to be US TV coverage of this fight. **** it, HBO pick it up and make Saturday 9/9 a quadrupel header. The SuperFly's followed by live via satellite Usyk vs Huck!
The Sauerlands have well and truly ****ed up a great concept for boxing. Literally zero promotion and still no networks announced! I mean wtf!
Usyk is always fun to watch. He'll rise to the occasion this Sat and put on a show. Best Cruiser in the world imo.
It's pretty disappointing that there isn't any tv coverage for this fight or any in the entire tournament at this point. Usyk-Huck is an interesting match up. If Huck has another strong performance in him then he is a live underdog. If he looks like his best days are behind him he gets beat handily and possibly stopped late.
Isaac Chamberlain talks about his experience sparring Uysk ''Usyk is the best fighter I've sparred. Better than Wilder, AJ.'' ''Usyk beats everyone in the CW tournament'' 12:29-24:00 Timestamped This content is protected
a uk channel will have every fight but its hasn't been announced who yet and the tournament starts in 5 days..
Strongest rumour seems to be Premier Sports, which is subscription based too. But again, nothing more than hearsay at this moment. I'm really surprised BT\BN didn't for got it
i guess similar reasons as sky - they already have their own shows to do. but i agree bt/bn could have got a load of new subscribers by getting this tournament.
