Pulev has looked awful post Wlad I don't expect this to go past 4. He has neither the foot speed or the power to test Joshua's boxing and stamina. We'll see I'm glad this fight got made. Pulev got courage I'll give him that. His resume is decent and fighting Wlad and Joshua is more we can say for some other fighters in the division

Someone will beat Joshua but Pulev isn't the one to do it. Nice jab but far too leaky a defence, not a poor chin but not one which can take too many of Joshua's shots, and not enough power to keep Joshua away. I expect Joshua to start slowly, trying to find Pulev out in the first couple of rounds and then turn up the aggression in the third round, with Pulev perhaps getting dropped but surviving the third, and then getting stopped in the fourth round. He may win the first and/or the second round though.

A 33 yr old prime Pulev was dropped 2x in rd 1 by WK, and laid out in rd 5.....AJ should be able to destroy him whenever he chooses.

The heavyweight division has become a joke since wlad has gotten old and retired. We now have a limited poser as a champion who will only fight in his backyard and cherry pick his opponents.
The heavyweight division is at a very low point at the moment.

lol... that's abit harsh. weather you like it or not Joshua is the best heavyweight. and a VERY goodone... he fights in the uk because that's where him and his opp can make the best money.. and cherrypicking? since when has he donethat... he fought wlad and now pulev.. who is considered a top 10 hw.. I don't see how fighting someone whos considered a top 10 Hw is cherrypicking a opp.

Luis Ortiz has been pushing hard to get AJ stripped of WBA title. Many rumours were saying AJ would be vacating the title.. But Eddie Hearn has hinted AJ will be keeping all his belts to fight Pulev in this cryptic tweet.

Poor Pulev...but if he earns around £1 mln, he ain't that poor :)

He may retire for good, having that amount of money in Bulgaria means you can buy everything you want and more.

Please Pulev, teach that bodybuilder a lesson. Show the bomb squad that Joshua is a one trick pony, and that the real heavyweight champion is the devastating bronze bomber!

Pulev is ranked #3 in the world. Its a pretty good fight and one i'll happily pay the 16 quid to watch.

Pulev might make it interesting for the first few rounds , but will eventually get bombed out of there by AJ who wont need an illegal spongy canvas to win like Grabimir Bitchko did. He also won't need to hold on for dear life like Clincko did either. Im predicting he looks far better dispatching Pulev and puts Wlads hold fest to shame:rambo1:

After this fight , Joshua will have beaten two top 5 and two top 10 ranked HWs in just FOUR years.

In Wlads first 4 years he never fought any top 10 guys and still lost to a journeyman:meparto:

He didn't fight anybody from the top 5 till TEN years after his pro debut and that was a shot to pieces Chris Byrd who wouldn't survive two rounds against Joshua.

Ten years it took him to beat just two top ten rankers. It took Joshua 4 years to beat 4 top tenners.

Its no wonder a green AJ was able to plaster the guy into retirement. There's levels to this game:icon_tfno:

I don't like this match for Pulev personally, and mostly just because since the Klitschko match he doesn't fought the competition to establish the confidence and new skill set to fight Joshua right now. I would much rather have seen him in the ring with several other fighters prior and then maybe against Wilder instead. I understand the ranking though being what it is.
