Im a fan of peter fury and the furys (although obviously some unanswered questions regards to drug testing and pulling out of fights etc) but I don't know what to make of showing the fight on YouTube PPV price of £9.99. It's not so much the price as arguments could be made either way depending on any undercard but it's the whole streaming it not all boxing fans have iPads or smart TVs or even the tech know how to do this.

first of all having it on ppv is shocking, but at least get it on itv box office or sky box office, but charging to watch it on an online streaming service is just shocking, hope no one watches it.

Oh dear. This will flop terribly. I'm not paying to watch boxing on my laptop. That's where I draw the line.

BS. Its more likely that no TV network had any interest in paying for the rights for this fight.

Im not adverse to paying for PPV's if it worth it... but this just isnt.

and I just cant see how this sells at all... No buy in from the casual market whatsoever, 0 promotion and two guy who unfortunately don't have huge fan bases to carry it.

Very negative comments i know but Could it even do 50k buys??

Hughie will win this, UD. Just a shame he'll become a world champion on YouTube....

Yeah probably because they insisted on PPV. You trying to tell me Boxnation wouldn't be interested in picking this up?

Depends on how much Hennessy wanted and his terms doesn't it?

A World title fight with no interest among fans or media in a empty building just probably isn't worth it.

Do you really believe that Hennessy looks at the Joshua PPV numbers or Mayweather v Mcgregor and thinks 'I know lets do a PPV for Parker v Fury as people will buy that'.

Even Hennessy cant be that stupid.

Crazy situation with PPV in the UK coming up in the next couple of months- if you include GGG/Canelo there are now FIVE PPVs scheduled by the end of October.
