Well...Does he? Or is it a mismatch?

He does have a very good jab but can his chin hold up against Joshua's power and relentless bully boy tactics in the ring?

He'll need Joshua to get an injury of some kind for him to win. I can't see anything that Pulev does that will trouble Joshua.

Pulev is a jab and grabber. His jab might trouble Joshua for a bit, but that will just make Joshua try and walk him down and Joshua is too strong and showed against Wlad he knows how to prevent an opponent from clinching him by using the forearm to create a barrier.

Even if Joshua makes a mistake and Pulev lands flush with his best shot, Joshua showed he has a solid enough chin to get caught flush and get back up and fight on and Pulev doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as Wlad.

No. He doesn't have the skills, physicality, toughness or intelligence to beat Joshua. He's completely outgunned in every category that counts in a boxing ring.

I'd like to say that if he has regained the form he showed against Wlad that he stands a decent chance. That Pulev was mentally tough, conditioned and would make it a good fight. He could win.

But I suspect that fight was Pulev's last hurrah and that AJ is going to smash him to bits.

He stands a chance only if he can keep standing.

He would need a knockout to get a draw and he surely isn't getting a knockout....................if he could last 12 rounds, he can't win a decision, even if he deserved it, so no, Pulev has zero chance and I do mean zero. Can he last 5 rounds? I doubt it, probably can't get past the first round.

Getting totally dominated and knocked out is a last hurrah? Pulev has no chance and never did, Joshua destroys any version of him without breaking a sweat.

I'll give Pulev credit in that fight. He was not scared of Wlad at all. In fact he was contemptuous. He came ready to rumble and really put Wlad under pressure. The fact that Klitschko punched a hole through him is testament to how good Wlad was.

These are all opinions. I think Pulev at his best may have posed a few problems for AJ. But I agree that right now, AJ is likely going to massacre him.

Pulev doesn`t punch like Wlad, he`s only got 13 KO`s Frank Bruno a famous chinny boxer couldn`t have taken that shot off Wlad I think your getting AJ and big Frank mixed up!

Pulev's best chance is for the lighting apparatus around the ring to collapse and fall on Joshua.

Wlad probably hit him harder than he will get hit for the remainder of his career and didn't ko him

Pulev needs to watch rounds 5 and 6 and try and emulate what WK did. Put him on the back foot and let the hands go. Don't go in there and freeze like Molina did.
