Does Kamegai Have The Greatest Chin In Boxing???

Watched it last night. Dude took an obscene amount of punishment and the way he was still running at Cotto in the late rounds... Scary stuff.

Kamegai's chin is made of the same liquid metal as the T-1000.

 

Its a close one between him and Provodnikov.

 

i was impressed at how well he took some of those shots and just kept on coming. lol bad for his health!

 

His giant head certainly helps matters, but yeah he certainly has a granite chin.

 

I wonder how he felt the following day. Auch!

 

Hope he doesn't suffer down the road from it, as much as I love iron chinned warriors doing their thing in the ring... It's scary thought.

 

It doesn't scare him nor his irresponsible corner one bit but it sure as hell isn't pleasant to watch. In the post-fight interview Cotto said he had never seen the likes of it. It's not just the impact he absorbs. Its the grotesque way he keeps his head stationary after the blow lands that adds a macabre aspect to the whole nauseating display and makes sanity questionable.

That ability might be preventing him from working on some more effective boxing skills.

Yeah it got to the point where it just looked like taking damage with no purpose.

 

Based on his in ring behavior? He probably had some ramen and watched kaiju cartoons.
