Wow. Friggin brutal interview, and friggin wasn't the first word I thought of for it.

That said, the teenage jerry springer fan in me loved that JDJ wasn't holding back lol.

 

I don't blame him at all, look what Kovalev did to him pre fight.

He essentially called his own trainer a glorified mitt man, useless in the corner and that he does everything himself during training. Disgusting.

Gotta wonder who else he told about Kovalev's issues with body shots. Wouldn't surprise me at all if word of that made it back to Andre's camp. You can sell information without needing to train the other guy.

 

I'm a fan of kov's but Abel Sanchez said he was a nightmare to train so i'd half believe he didn't listen with JDJ. Where as JDJ is a weak snake who has shown to be highly untrustworthy...If he had any self respect he woulda walked if he wasn't the boss in camp, instead he took the money and damaged his rep badly. I do believe what JDJ said to be accurate about him finished if he comes back. Hes disheartened with the fight game and I don't blame him

 

100%..I'd stake my life it got back with zero money exchanged too..There was hate in Kov's camp. Then on top of it that slut that promoted him screwed him over at the negotiating table

 

Exactly my initial thoughts when JDJ got found out.

He's a snake and it's not something I like saying about him as I thought he was a decent guy.

Kovalev has always been a resounding joke with no respect for anyone. Glad Ward knocked the **** out of him.

 

He probably is a decent guy to some extent, but when you lack balls you do stupid weak sly things. I'd rather walk out the door and give him 2 fingers than take **** and look like he looks now !

 

Yep, I'm a Kovalev fan but I can't see him being here in 12 to 18 months time.

It's been a good ride but as ive said in previous posts whilst prior to Ward Kovalev had to be classed as number 1 in the division I always thought there where fighters out there that would or I'd favour to beat him (Beterbiev and Gvozdyk).
