Isn't it a bit too early to be making pre-emptive excuses for GGG?

One close fight and that is it. Same with GGG.

The bottom line is Canelo is going to win this fight cleanly on points, and a lot of you guys are going to owe me a massive, massive apology when it happens.

And I tell you this right now, I do not want to hear any excuses and I do not want any tears after this fight, because you certainly wont be getting any from me.

1 close fight? 2 clear losses and 2 debatable fights and not one legit challenge since lara took his confidence.

Fans are complaining about the judges from experience. How many times have we seen the same corrupt judges in Vegas cheat a fighter?! Everyone knows that Oscar owns the judges, referee and boxing commission, he pays them, if they do not please Oscar, they could lose their jobs.......................they know it too..................I don't have to explain that crap, it's so obvious and has been for years...................

Golovkin has to knock Alvarez out to get a draw!

Alvarez plans on throwing pity patter punches with open gloves so his punches will be faster, he will run, then flurry, run then flurry, as long as he can stay away and be standing at the end of the fight, Oscar's judges will give him a gift decision and he knows it. Alvarez will get credit for punches he doesn't even land, he does not have to land punches to win, just be there at the end of the bell. However, Golovkin will still cutt off the ring and bust Alvarez up in spite of Oscar's referee trying to protect him..................who knows? Perhaps Alvarez will kick Golovkin in the testicles, esp. if Tony Weeks is the referee.....................Bob Bennett will be there to lie and not allow a replay....................

The problem is GGG can't afford to win 7-5 in rounds here. Canelo is a PPV golden goose, and boxing knows it.

I question the judges, who might give Canelo a distance fight win, even if the punch stats in each round suggest otherwise.

GGG isn't shot, but he is 35 and in decline.

My prediction is GGG will find Canelo easy to hit, and it will come down to what gives first, Canelo's body or mind.

ODH is a fair, decent and honourable man, and he proved it throughout his boxing career, so these conspiracy theories and allegations are disgusting and libellous. There is not a shred of evidence he is fixing this fight, not one iota, and there is absolutely no way on God's earth he would risk damaging his promotion's integrity, not to mention dragging his own name through the dirt just for some kind of short term gain that you guys have dreamt up in your heads. This isn't WWE and he certainly isn't Vince McMahon.

If you are so sure this fight is fixed or the judges have somehow been coerced, then don't buy the fight, go and watch those caged animals in UFC instead.

No, all eyes will be on boxing and the judges will be calling it straight down the line, they will be calling it right, and they will most likely be calling it for Canelo.

So now I've put all these dirty allegations to bed, no more excuses.

I really don't think that corrupt officials, judges, ref etc.matters a jot in this match up. I rate Canelo highly and enjoy watching him but, he's never fought anyone remotely like GGG in terms of size, power, experience, strength or ring IQ. Is GGG on the slide? I don't think so. It's simply a case of his opposition improving at the same time as him coming to the tail end of his career. Jacobs looked like a cruiserweight in there with GGG and in my opinion, GGG still won by a couple of rnds and not once looked in serious trouble.
I actually think the fight will end pretty conclusively either by KO to GGG or Canelo losing by a pretty wide UD after being decked a few times.

no excuses in this fight. They are both looking good and we know the styles which will win. Canelo has to use his skills and avoid being in GGG's range and has to win the rounds and not get drawn into a slugfest.. GGG has to slowly take over the fight and overwhelm Canelo with his size and punching power. It is a great fight. I cannot wait.

what I find interesting about this fight is GGG is not hard to hit, and he is usually hit.. Maybe that is why guys are in his range. It is almost like Hearns when he would put his left hand down and make guys throw at him.. or tempt. GGG is easy to hit, so guys hit him and stand in the range. Canelo should hit him and throw two punches at a time. Don't try to knock him out and swell up GGG and see if he can get a TKO late. Don't go for the knockout, or GGG could counter him. Part of me things Canelo could win a lopsided 12 round decision.. I don't think so but maybe he has become that good. I really don't know...It is a hard fight to figure, but GGG is always hit a little and swells, and he is fighting a guy who is better than anyone he has fought.. Canelo has fought good guys.

Although GGG's opposition isn't exactly stellar, he's still beaten everyone put in front of him and, barring Jacobs has pretty much destroyed them. Canelo on the other hand has lost, admittedly to the most exceptional boxer of a generation and has only really dominated the guys we all fully expected him to. He just about scraped past Lara, had a tough fight against Trout, had a far tougher fight than expected against a way past prime and completely dwarfed Cotto and has fought absolutely no one to get him ready for GGG. Kirkland is the only real KO artist Canelo's ever faced and he was shot to ****. I really can't see how Canelo can win unless it's a robbery of a decision and looking at how GGG is preparing for this fight with everything geared to landing power shots, GGG is looking to take the officials out the equation.
