that's how good kovalev is, he is lazy and doesn't train much and beat ward the first fight, and in the second fight one judge had him winning at the end, after ward landed low blows.

 

Kovalev looked like he phoned it in for the rematch. though he'd win easy threw all his power punches in the first 3-4 rounds. Throwing combos away without technique. with his volume may have been winning some of the early rounds. went past the point of no return for recovery, looked for any excuse he could.
