Very little chatter But damn good bout Im leaning towards Estrada.... But its 50/50 & hope winner fights Choco/Rungsavai winner
I agree, no one seems to be talking about this weekend. I think Estrada takes this one as well but it'll definitely be a war. Winner of Estrada/Cuadras takes on Choco/Rungvisai, and the winner of that takes on Inoue.
Indeed the best match that night. For me I would be more interested in seeing Inoue vs estrada or cuadras next and then should both inoue and the Thai wins, they matchup in japan or in California should roman wins.
Card of the year for me. excited for inoue to crush a can in the U.S. hope his hand holds up. He keeps breaking it
Cuadras is a backfoot fighter and Estrada is a come forward guy. Great fight, but the potential for a snoozer is high. Choco-Rung is a guaranteed war, so that's the one I'm looking forward to the most. Inoue should have a highlight reel KO, but might get reckless in an attempt to entertain in his US debut and end up not looking as impressive as he could.
Cuadras is a backfoot volume counter puncher, Estrada is a counter puncher who's frontfoot/backfoot versatile depending on the level of his opponent, Cuadras is next level, so Estrada will be more backfoot forcing El Principe to be the aggressor, but since Cuadras has a good chin, throws more volume, and uses angles just as well as Estrada, Cuadras should win this by late KO or close UD.
The lack of talk not just here but on any English language boxing sites is insane. I come across hundreds of Spanish language articles and youtube videos about this fight. This is a massive fight for Mexican boxing, and it's turned into a grudge match, a lot of passion between these guys.. I'm on Estrada. Finds Cuadras out of countering traps, outthinks and outboxes him, and lands the sharper, cleaner punches. I think both of them will be tempted into a war at times, and opening up actually favours Estrada. Cuadras has the speed and strength advantages, and could be close all the way though. My worry is Cuadras as the more active guy is given more credit by the judges when he's not actually controlling the action.
I though Cuadras did enough to beat Gonzalez, but did not look that good in his last fight. Gonzalez won the first fight, but got robbed. They claim the judges saw the blood from the headbutt and gave points for it, if that is true, then those judges should be banned for life!
