    Nonsense?
Flailing Fluid Floyd finally found a fine way to favor PPV fans by fighting and not fleeing and it is deemed nonsense? Makes perfect business sense. Otherwise a fight fraught with frustrating boredom would foil future fight revenues.

Add GGG's jab to your list.

That doesn't mean that Canelo doesn't hit hard though.

It's like saying Anthony Joshua doesn't hit hard, because he knocked out Wlad, and Wlad has a weak chin. It makes no sense.

Jacobs ate punches to the kisser all night and got dropped.

    Dino: "Success!"

No, Canelo's power is over rated because he only KO's the china chinned. Little Lovemore N'Dou the 140 pounder, who was ancient when he fought Canelo, ate Canelo's best offerings, often with little to no problem and took the much bigger Canelo the distance. N'Dou was dropped twice while younger, and in his prime by Junior Witter. Alfredo Angulo, ate Canelo's best round after round, and Canelo couldn't get him down. The fight was stopped at a time when Angulo wasn't even hurt. Angulo was dropped and stopped by James Kirkland. Old Shane Mosely walked through Canelo's best shots round after round in losing a decision. Prime Mosely was dropped and hurt bad by Vernon Forrest. Miguel Cotto ate Canelo's best shots, and gave back as good as he got most of the way. If Chop Chop Corley is having Cotto do the stanky leg, and smaller guys like Judah, and Torres are hurting him, I'd expect Canelo to be able to hurt him worse, yet he couldn't. If Canelo was a true power puncher, he would have dropped and stopped N'Dou, Angulo, Cotto and Mosely. Anyone who is saying that Canelo's power is over rated, is correct.

My Biggest concern about Canelo's last fight was how he could not finish a obviously past it not Serious Chavez...would hate to think what both Jacobs and Golovkin would have done to Chavez on that night...they would have Murdered him....Canelo was far from Impressive that night.!!!!

Pac stopped Cotto and he's a midget!

One thing is for sure, Alvarez has the judges in his pocket, everyone knows it.......................so when the robbery occurs even Alvarez fans will get very angry at being cheated. It's time fight fans fight back. PPV is destroying boxing badly................

Any Lee floored Quillin with a single shot and had his eyes bulging out of his sockets like Quaid from Recall. Jacobs threw 20 shots onto Quillin's chin and couldn't even put him down. Chavez Jr laughed at Lee's best shots.

Jacobs isn't doing anything to Chavez. He couldn't drop him , never mind murder him :nut::nut:

I agree. The moment Jacobs worked out that Chavez was a dried-out mummy and that he didn't have to be scared of his shots (unlike Golovkin) he'd plant his feet and begin the butchery. The ref would need a canoe to move around the ring with, with all the blood that would pour from what was left of Chavez. They'd need like 10 cheeseburgers to wake Junior up with.

Power isn't everything. But when your opponent is smarter than you, takes a better punch, jabs better, cuts the ring better, blocks better, sustains better workrate, etc. What exactly is the option here?

Now these things would all be magnified in GGG's prime which is why Canelo and Oscar vacated the belt and ducked a peak Golovkin. But the fact is even at 35 Golovkin still has the advantages.

    Barely casual level thread. Embarrassing.
