GGG has an issue with returning fire when being fired upon. Canelo is much better fighter in that regard. I also think Canelo has faster hands than GGG and so beats him to the punch and smothers GGGs work. Because GGG tends to turtle up when he's getting attacked, Canelo will throw combo after combo and works his way through GGGs guard (it's been done before).

You get hit with enough shots, you start to get gun shy. Canelo continues to take the lead and eventually wears GGG down late in the fight, and wins the latter rounds convincingly.

    UD Canelo.

Man I can't wait for this fight though. Do you think it will live up to the hype?

Absolutely. GGG wants this win and Canelo is just a dog in the ring. There's going to be fireworks, I just don't know who's gonna get lit up... LOL!

This is a career defining fight for GGG
He doesnt have much time left to redeem a bad loss
Nor are there other super talented opponents for him to fight at 160-168
Unless GGG loses a controversial decision, then he will be ok legacy wise
He can always fight and beat Charlo if he loses to Canelo
But I dont see GGG fighting much longer if he does lose

I still cant pick a winner

Personally I've always thought Canelo would take it, the more time has past it's gone from a close decision to now a clear UD with possibility of a late stoppage.
I think early on Alvarez speed and counter punching will lower GGG offense early, while his defense brings it home late.
Ppl talk about GGG Jan like it's the end all be all, forgetting Canelo has shut down better and faster jabbers than Golovkin, anyway time for talk it over we will all have answers next week.

We will find out about Canelo's chin in this fight. If he doesn't have world class whiskers, he's getting stopped.

Also, GGG is the better boxer here. I don't know where people get this idea that Canelo is going to "outbox" Golovkin; he won't. Maybe he goes the distance and picks up a couple of the early rounds but I see a methodical beatdown by GGG.

Reminds me of the Broner-Mikey fight, the gut feeling was in the air, Broner was going to be too strong. Last two days leading up to the fight more and more people were believing it,

I'm sticking with GGG, he's finally got this fight so I expect his best effort. It will be too much for Red,

I've have been picking Canelo to beat GGG ever since the Brook fight. If Canelo can handle GGG's power he will outbox him to a win. His level of comp against elite opposition and his big fight experience are also key in this fight, that people love to overlook. These are areas that GGG are light years behind Canelo in. This will be GGG's biggest fight of his career and the best fighter that he's ever faced the same can't be said for Canelo.

If GGG didn't KO jacobs and put on an underwhelming performance on purpose to get this fight(as far as that goes he was getting beat against brook until brook had to quit) then I think Canelo will win by decision. The simple fact is if it's decision Oscar has the judges and Canelo will win. GGG needs a stoppage.

Controversial decision could bring a rematch.

Also I don't see Canelo stopping GGG. He couldn't even stop Cotto. Manny stopped a prime cotto.

Ggg all day long. Think people have been getting steadily carried away with the recent canelo hype in the last few weeks. Hes looking good tbf. But he,ll still enter that ring as the slow footed low workrate guy that he is. Golovkin will have too high a workrate for him. People seem to forget golovkin doesnt give you time to breath in their. Hes on you cutting that ring off making angles...and hitting the target. It wears you down plus canelos never had great stamina to begin with. Ggg will actually outbox him or outfight him anyway.

Great fight cant completely right canelo off. Golvokins not keen on the body shots. Canelos a very decent body puncher and always a chance he walks golovkin into something big. But if your a betting man its got to be ggg all day long.
