    Here's the thing, Farmy.

Occasionally judges turn up to a fight & try their hardest to score it right.

Sometimes, those judges are even competent.

If Parker gets two of those on the night (he doesn't need three), he's in it up to his eyeballs.

I am picking Parker by late TKO

I sure hope Parker does it. Good fighter with impressive skills

Credit to Hughie's team for taking this fight. I didn't think they would take someone on this level at this point of Hughie's progression

Parker is a decent sized fish in a tiny pond. Had he plied his trade in the UK we'd probably have him at Whyte's level. However, he's very overhyped imo. Don't get me wrong, he's a honest fighter with the power to KO if he lands...he won't land sweet on Fury, Fury will replicate his cousins fight against Klitschko by totally outboxing him. He's not interested in trading, I don't think he's even that interested in KO'ing his opponent. He's relaxed and he will flick out the jab for 12 rounds for a UD.

He will do just that. Hughie is more disciplined than T fury and although smaller and weaker, he's quicker and he will listen to his dad all night long. Hughie is bigger than parker. 6'5 230-240lbs

This puts things into perspective on a bloke called Hughie Fury...

Fury's ability to get the mandatory challenge has been baffling. It appears more to do with the WBO connections of his backer Frank Warren, than his own claims.

The 22-year-old Fury is is yet to fight a ranked contender and has only fought 10 men with winning records. He hasn't fought since April 2016, and has been in the ring only eight times in over three and a half years.

    Parker will hurt this kid.

UD, Fury. He will keep Parker on the end of his jab all night long. Parker doesn't have the game to get inside. He doesn't have the skill to beat Fury from the outside, he doesn't have the necessary toughness to walk through him. The fight is in the UK, Parker has no chance on the cards, but that is moot because Fury should put on a spoiler's performance that would win under any set of judges.

I think I might have noticed a slight indicator of bias in this thread, if you observe closely posters from NZ* are extremely confident about Parker's chances. Funny that.

Now we need a thread for gypsies from the Manchester area to let us know how easily Hughie will out slick caveman Joe.

*except Kiwiman who doesn't seem so much of a homer and is pretty balanced in all his boxing views.

That's it. Maybe even 9. It sure isn't 7 though. Winning 8 or 9 rounds in the other guy's back yard is tough to do & pretty much takes a superior fighter as well as top conditioning to pull off.

Based on his recent form, Parker sure does look like a guy ready to be taken. Fighting a guy willing to go the distance and not to trade to not help his cause 1 iota. He'd have been much better off with a face first guy right in front of him all night.

Very dangerous and very risky fight for the payday he's getting, & too big of a risk to take.
