No. Estrada won. I mean, it was close enough to argue either way, but I think the stronger case can be made for Estrada.

That seemed to be the consensus from the Carson crowd.

I thought Cuadras won the fight by a narrow margin. Had Cuadras lost that last round I would have given it to Estrada. A draw was also more reasonable than a Cuadras loss.

    BTW
That Cuadras dude has an uncanny resemblance to Canelo! Fights in a rather similar fashion as well but seems to lack the snap to his punches that Canelo has.

Cuadras is a slapper. He also lost to Carmona clearly and was gifted a decision.

What is it with you people, why the **** can't you score a match fairly when Cuadras is involved? He clearly outworks most of his opponents, yes the opponents landed the harder sharper shots, but Cuadras isn't landing powder puff shots either. Yes Cuadras was robbed or a win in this match, and in the Gonzalez match, and who the hell would be bat**** enough to think Carmona beat him?

If anything Canelo fights far more like Estrada. Very calculated with his punches, doesn't use the jab as much, but both are master at countering.

I thought the same way. It looked like a pre cursor to next week's bout.
    A standard fundamental puncher
    VS
A slick counter puncher who can land in volume but not much power.

THE GLOVES ARE NOT A SCORING AREA.

YOU CAN OUT-THROW YOUR OPPONENT THREE TO ONE, BUT IF YOU DO NOT LAND ON THE TARGET THOSE PUNCHES DO NOT COUNT.

    Had to be said.

Estrada landed harder, sharper, and cleaner. A lot of Cuadras' work was blocked, slipped or rolled, especially as the fight wore on. Not even close to a bad decision.

Maybe the real description is that Canelo fights like both depending on the situation.
