Saunders Bares All

I hope he does do it saunders, being British and all that..I think when he was active he had a problem with stamina, now against good comp, hes gonna tire worse than ever with his lack of activity in recent times and blowing up in weight. I can see him making the 12 by the skin of his teeth down to fatigue..I hope I'm wrong

 

Saunders is indeed in good shape, I expect him to beat Monroe Jr (especially since it's in the UK). If he's back to his best he'll have a chance against the GGG/Canelo winner.

Saunders has been very dominant against his sparring partners per Twitter reports. Although he starts as underdog against either, he has a good style to beat either GGG or Canelo.

 

The Superb One looks Superb

 

He barely beat Andy Lee and Chris Eubanks. He does have the tricky southpaw style, but I think on their worst day both Canelo and GGG still edge him.

 

He looks in great shape. Shame he's a tool. Shows he's taking Monroe seriously.

I'm picking Monroe for the upset. I've really liked what I've seen of Willie and I think that he may be mentally tougher than Saunders. However, these two are evenly matched, wouldn't be a surprise to see either win.

Everybody is full of beans before they fight GGG. He never fought Golovkin Regardless, it would actually be more interesting if Saunders DID win. Then his reward will likely be that GGG fight he's been talking about. That would be worth watching. Monroe we've seen already against Golovkin.

 

stevens, lemeiux, rosado, murray all showed heart in there with ggg.

munroe, geale, wade, rubio didnt. they stopped fighting even when they had fight left in them

 

OK, fair enough point. I'm still looking forward to Saunders / Monroe. These guys both have skills and I think it will be a good, well matched fight. Let's see who's right at the end of it If Saunders blows Monroes outta there I'll be very surprised, and impressed.
