there is some truth to it. A guy who has fought has beens to a guy who has fought lesser mediocre guys at middleweight. But still the guys GGG fought are not guys who go down easily. He didn't just win boring decisions. This fight is a great fight. I am counting the days, and I hate when I do this because then the fight is a letdown..

I know the feeling since we wait and wait and then it comes and it is a let down, although in that fighta few year ago I figured the style of Floyd would beat Pacman. in this fight, I have been watching Canelo fights seeing how much he backs up and GGG to see how much he backs up. Canelo does a little more backing, but neither guy likes to back up. This might be a very good fight just on that. They might stand in one spot and try to pick their shots and it could be boring but something tells me it will be a very interesting fight. If GGG comes forward like they said he will. Canelo had better hurt him with something to keep him off him, or GGG might walk through him. I remember when Hearns fought Hagler, they asked Hearns, why did you brawl back, and Hearns said because Marvin walked in on me, I had to protect myself. Although that was not totally true, the way Hearns unleashed his punches he was ready to swing and go for knockout and so was Hagler. I don't think that will happen next Sat. but who knows. That would help GGG more than Canelo.

TBF, no one gives AF what Lara thinks/says. Most people don't even remember that he's alive.

All that matters is that Lomachenko is picking GGG.

really doesn't matter who any given fighter is picking. especially if they don't have a proven track record of publicly picking winners.

Exactly why we can expect Canelo's corner to tell him to avoid it.

I agree. A lot of people are talking about Canelo's beefing up. I am not sure he beefed up as much as just working out his upper body.. I have not been this excited about a fight in many many years. Probably 10 or 15. It is a great matchup.

You never know. A fighter might suddenly come down with explosive diarrhea, projectile vomiting or a host of other unpredictably nasty maladies during a bout. I once heard a fighter say that he had lost because he needed to use the latrine all during the bout but couldn't.
