I follow him on FB He has been picking Canelo for a while now. His reasoning: Canelo is on the way up, GGG on the way down. Says GGG has been getting hit too much in his recent fights. 5 more days. 5. I am getting pumped!
Of course Canelo wins, all he has to do is survive the fight ,which I hope Golovkin plans on bringing. I don't want to hear the whine about it afterwards either. We all know that this is Canelo's fight to lose, I just want Golovkin to make him earn it. The sad part is after Saul takes the titles they will be defended against welterweights and jr. middle weights. Canelo fans don't act like he won't do it. His entire career is manufactured so don't make him like he is some world beater either. Whenever someone questions Canelo's career Oscar and fans start slinging around the word "Mexican" like it's some supper excuse passport. They actually use it in a racial ,separatist context like, "Oh it doesn't matter if Canelo fights____ he has the love of the Mexican people and all of Mexico, and Mexican, Mexican, Mexican." If Golovkin bum fighting ass wins at least he fights what's left at 160. I bet HBO won't try to get GGG to move up, plenty of fights at 160 minus a Jacobs rematch because he doesn't want it with Jacobs another time. He might take his bribe money and retire.
so you think they are both duckers. the fight is pretty much fixed. that neither is very good. am i getting that right?
I agree canelo wins if it goes 12 rounds lol.. not legit though judges will just give it to him. either way I can't wait
They are good at what they do which is fight smaller men and get gift decisions. I'm just saying Golovkin is old and does not make HBO any real money like Canelo does. So by a business default Golovkin is out and he IS NOT going to win this fight. I just hope it's entertaining because it's just as much a circus as Mayweather vs McGregor. Did you all forget that Attitude Era WWF "surprise" ring entrance and face off between Alvarez and Golovkin? Once again I have to point out you guys disillusionment.
Nope , it's a no hope division. Only one guy at a time at 160. When in history has it ever been stacked?
In the summer of 1992, the Ring Magazine top 10 ratings at middleweight included in no particular order Roy Jones, Bernard Hopkins, James Toney, Mike McCallum, Gerald McClellan, Julian Jackson, Reggie Johnson, Steve Collins, Sumbu Kalambay and Lamar Parks. That was pretty loaded.
And none of those guys can say that they have beat even 25% of those guys at 160. I know you are gonna pick Roy he fought only 2 and he well could have cleared out the entire division but he moved up to SMW. It has mostly been a crossroads division of guys test themselves from smaller weights or big guys draining down to best up smaller guys. It has never been a naturally stacked or celebrated division. In fact only 2 guys have ever fought at 160 and gotten a pass for staying there. Everyone else won a title and was asked to move up every time someone spoke to them.
Heredia is picking Alvarez to win, so are the drug testers............................Alvarez does not have to take a drug test, not even one, but Golovkin has to take many drug tests.................
