Joshua-Pulev: 70,000 Tickets Sold, Attendance Record Broken!

A record breaking 70,000 tickets have been sold in less than 1 day for the World Heavyweight title showdown between Anthony Joshua MBE and Kubrat Pulev at Principality Stadium in Cardiff on October 28, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Tickets have been snapped up by fans eager to see the biggest star in the sport meet his IBF mandatory challenger in his 20th pro outing as he hunts a 20th straight KO win – and the event has become the fastest selling sporting show at the stadium, and has beaten the record set when 63,000 witnessed the rematch between Muhammad Ali and Leon Spinks at the New Orleans Superdrome in 1978.

Impressive. More tickets than Wilder's sold in his entire career.

Joshua is coming along nicely. Certainly the biggest star in Europe.

Ya this is all a load of nonsense really. Stub hub probably bought 1000's and are selling them at a mark up.

No event will legitimately sell out in a few minutes when its this many people as the people who want the tickets wont all be free at the specific time to buy them

But but but there is some Sheep dog trials in Swansea on that very same weekend. Maybe Joshua should reconsider for Spring next year.

I'd say most of them were, in all honesty.

You'll see a lot of ALL TICKETS SOLD OUT! Followed by TICKETS AVAILABLE ON STUBHUB tweets

I'm pretty sure that his own 90,000 mark at Wembley against Wlad trumps this 70,000 "record".

Or am I missing something here?! :nusenuse:
