    A little video I threw together (my first, and probably my last highlight/compilation video) focusing on Andre Ward's youth and his time at 168. Has some glitches, but I really can't justify spending the time to fix them. Hope at least some of you find it entertaining.

    Good video. Ward is a well schooled boxer. From about 3:30 it is apparent why Ward is so effective to the body. All of his workout videos that I've seen are impressive...as football coaches say, "you play like you practice."

    My brother and I had the pleasure of seeing Ward fight Froch in AC. We saw Froch vs Johnson and he pulled a big contingent of loud and proud UK fans. After a few rounds the building was silent. Ward put on a dominant display.

    Ward is phenomenal... One of the best master boxers of modern time.
    A complete fighter.

    Physically not so gifted, but incredibly skilled all around, mentally tough and dedicated.

    Thanks! Yeah, I really enjoy some of his workout videos. No pyrotechnics on the bags, just extreme focus and deliberate practice.

    Ward, Povetkin, and Holyfield show excellent body mechanics, fundamentals, and technique in training and their attention to detail transfers to the ring. In the middle of an exchange they'll often maintain better form than some fighters have shadowboxing. Too bad there aren't more videos of Holyfield in training, there are a few of Povetkin, and luckily there are a lot of Ward. If someone is interested in becoming a boxer, watching these guys would be helpful. They don't have the same "style" but they have the same "basics."

    It is a good video .. It's a shame with all his talent, he chooses to be a scumbag dirty boxer who intentionally and consistently head butts all the time.. This clown at times is leading with his head, gloves down, from the outside!! .. I think he has 5 intentional head butts in one fight alone!! There is no place in boxing for it.. It's just convenient for the ref to call it accidental, there's too much money involved in boxing to make the "right" call on it.

    Thanks. He's certainly reckless (at best) with his head at times. Reminiscent of Hopkins and Holyfield.
