I think Parker needs a new trainer to take his game to the next level. If he were to leave his current team, who would the ESB brain trust like to see him join forces with?

Honestly I'd be happy to see him with any world-class trainer, I don't think Barry can take him further so any change is a good one.

Agreed. I think someone who could focus his offensive capabilities would be best.

Is Roach up to the job these days? Garcia?

Garcia is good. Not sure about Roach, my feeling is that he's a bit past it.

Parker and Barry is very close and so far they are winning so I can't see them split.

Neither can I but I don't think he's helping Parker reach his full potential. His title win should have shown Joe that.

Beat me to it. Bring the aggression and killer instinct back to his game.

Sanchez and Barry should work together a bit I reckon. Barry does bring some good stuff but it seems that Izu and Parker have some similar weaknesses in their skillset which seems like too much of a coincidence, HOWEVER - Parker had a hell of a messy year last year, was overworked and had a metric crapload going on outside the ring all year as well. All things considered he did well to be that active and that successful while taking upward steps.

I think this conversation would best be served after next weekend to get a gauge of what a rested and focussed Parker does on alien soil against one of the best that Britain have to offer.

I strongly agree, Lith. Bad, interrupted year this past year.

His next fight will tell all.
