I know you're not very familiar with boxing as is evident from your posts, but age in boxing is not always determined by years, but by how well you treat your body, the wars you've been in, and genetics. We have fighters like Hopkins, JMM, Mayweather performing at the elite level well into their late 30's and beyond sometimes, and then we have fighters like Erik Morales, and Fernando Vargas for example who were great in their prime but shot before hitting 30. Golovkin has not given me any reason to think he is any less of a fighter than when he beat Brook.
No excuses. GGG should know better than anyone that he needs a stoppage or knockout to beat Canelo. Even Floyd himself barely got the decision over Canelo. If GGG simply tries to win on the cards it's his own fault.
The fight was just brought up for the first time only 2 years ago when Canelo beat Cotto. If you want to blame someone, blame Lil G for fighting bums his whole career.
you've got to know who you're dealing with. Most of lil G's fans(AND i'm talking roughly 80% of them) migrated over from UFC. These are the same guys saying, "why don't Mayweather fight GGG", not aware of thing called "weight classes" in boxing, just as they are in MMA
Not sure that there is any... Most people pulling for Canelo aren't spamming the boards with threads and excuses. I can't even think of a single excuse actually. If you look around there are at least 10 excuses from Golovkin groupies, probably more.
