I really miss the days when Oscar De La Hoya was not a massive D-Bag

    He wasn't always like this. I remember when he would fight anybody and go in the trenches. He was a true fans fighter. But ever since he's retired and gotten more into his promotions he just became a corrupt jackass.

    If I saw Oscar right now I'd ask him can you stop being a douche?

    I never liked him even when he was a fighter lol :p now I really can't stand him.

    He's doing the same but the trenches aren't just getting in the ring any longer. The trenches are now the dog-eat-dog world of business competition.

    He is also a philanthropist who tries to help others via his Oscar de la Hoya Animo Charter High School, which brings quality education to those who would otherwise be deprive due to low quality teachers.

    The main reason I want GGG to win is to see DLH cry and his make up run.

    All his charitable stuff , which I suspect is mainly for image building, doesn't hide the fact he is a douche.

    he has to be that a little he is promoter. I think the flaw in Oscar now is he needs more than one fighter. Reminds me of when King had Tyson and after Tyson left they had a press conference where they are all counting (Tyson also) to prove Douglas was down for the count. He put too much on Mike.. Oscar puts his all into Canelo. You should always have a lot of fighters so you are fair to everyone else and not protecting of your fighter.

    I don't know if he was really much different before, he just had a better PR team and awareness to make sure he said the PC thing.

    Now he doesn't care as much.
