Weird. Lemiuex is one of the few fights Golovkin was cautious and defensive minded. Lemiuex got out boxed and landed very little.

Most would agree, Lemiuex probably is a more dangerous puncher than Canelo, though not as good overall.

GGG actually ranked number 2 on CompuBox's Plus/Minus list from last November

    Here's the article

With Vasyl Lomachenko’s dominant performance over Nicholas Walters this past weekend, he now becomes #1 on CompuBox’s Plus/Minus list with a connect percentage differential of +20.9 — marking the highest rating since Floyd Mayweather (+24.5).

The Plus/Minus differential takes into account a boxers percentage of punches landed minus the percentage of punches landed on them. As of right now, the top 10 fighters in the Plus/Minus category are as follows:

    1. Vasyl Lomachenko (+20.9)
    2. Gennady Golovkin (+15.1)
    3. Andre Ward (+15.1)
    4. Erislandy Lara (+14.4)
    5. Naoya Inoue (+14)
    6. Terence Crawford (+12.1)
    7. Lamont Peterson (+11.7)
    8. Juan Francisco Estrada (+11.6)
    9. Roman Gonzalez (+11.6)
    10. Adrien Broner (+11)
Taking a look strictly at the defensive aspect, Lomachenko also rates #1 on opponents total connect percentage against, putting him even above the defensive wizard in Guillermo Rigondeaux. The top 10 in the category goes like this:

    1. Vasyl Lomachenko (16.1%)
    2. Guillermo Rigondeaux (16.8%)
    3. Erislandy Lara (19.1%)
    4. Terence Crawford (20.9%)
    5. Juan Francisco Estrada (21.3%)
    6. Arthur Abraham (21.5%)
    7. Naoya Inoue (21.9%)
    8. Andre Ward (22%)
    9. Wladimir Klitschko (22.3%)
    10. Carlos Cuadras (22.4%)
This stat is pretty interesting considering that Lomachenko fights more offensively than Rigondeaux, which in theory should make him more vulnerable to an opponent’s counter attack.

Lomachenko averages about 10 more punches thrown per round than does the Rigonadeaux (59.5 - 49.4), while Lomachenko also nearly doubles Rigondeaux’s average punches landed per round (22 - 11.6).

Considering how highly Rigondeaux’s boxing skills are held, the fact that Lomachenko can be more effective both offensively and defensively is pretty darn impressive. It should be noted, however, that Rigondeaux still occupies the #1 position when it comes to strictly defending power punches. The top 10 in opponent’s power punch connect percentage is as follows:

    1. Guillermo Rigondeaux (19.9%)
    2. Vasyl Lomachenko (22.7%)
    3. Erislandy Lara (24.1%)
    4. Wladimir Klitschko (24.8%)
    5. Andre Ward (26.7%)
    6. Lamont Peterson (27.9%)
    7. Terence Crawford (28.3%)
    8. Juan Francisco Estrada (28.8%)
    9. Keith Thurman (29.3%)
    10. Carlos Cuadras (29.5%)

"Guys, there's nothing like boxing and there are no athletes like fighters.. There's nowhere else in sport you'll find greater passion, greater intensity, greater courage, greater commitment, greater sheer guts than what these two guys are showing you! This is boxing at its beat!"

Alvarez couldn't knock Cotto down like Pac did, Pac stopped Cotto...................However, perhaps Bayless will trip Golovkin with his foot and call it a knockdown, but Byrd and Moretti will be there to give Alvarez every round.................so all Alvarez has to do is be standing at the end of the round.............

Pac was roided out of his mind those years. Back when he would just touch guys and send them to the canvas. You don't bring 1 punch power up 8 ****ing weight classes without doing some illegal ****. I don't care who you are.

he's not gonna get him out of there with one punch, but an accumulation of punishment will do it. Let's not forget, The Blade was never knocked down by Hearns in 2 fights and Durant, past his prime, wore him down and knocked him down.
