If Golovkin beats Canelo by KO, that will make him greater than Mayweather

    In boxing, how you win your fights matters as much as who you beat

    Mayweather made sure to rig his fights, and even then needed gift decisions to stay undefeated. We all know this and nobody who says otherwise can be taken seriously.

    Golovkin will have to KO Canelo with the deck stacked against him.

    Judges, Refs, VADA, moved weigh ins, skipped weigh ins, he is going to have to deal with all of that AND KO the highly skilled Canelo, a boxer Mayweather had trouble with drained, green and all.

    Who else could win under such conditions? Certainly not Mayweather who NEEDED the advantages because the man himself was unable. Golovkin doesn't need these advantages, in fact he makes these advantages irrevelant.

    Win decision on a rigged fight against Canelo < Knocking out a Canelo that has every single advantage

    No. I don't think so.

    I think you have to respect the fight that the fighter can bring to the fight.

    Mayweather and GGG bring different fights.

    That must mean he'll be much greater than Pacquiao, since Floyd already > Pacquiao by a very good distance :)

    I absolutely hate FlIVd as much as anyone one but this is absurd! 1 fight doesnt define someones entire legacy. Sure guys can have that one fight that was the moment that their legacy was solidified but come on. GGGs resume is too weak to catapult past FlIVd with just one win.
