If the IBF actually means any fight with multiple titles on the line then they should fix their wording.

Unify means coming together. Canelo is not bringing a title into the fight - so this fight is NOT a unification fight.

Alvarez does not have to do the second weigh-in, but Golovkin does.....................don't understand why Alvarez does not have to take a drug test..................Golovkin does...............

The IBF are no longer imposing their rehydration rule when other titles are on the line. That rule will be in IBF sanctioned fights only.

Plus the fight is for the MW Championship held by Canelo.

    There is no second weigh-in

A lot of people are confused and still writing articles about it but it was already confirmed that there are working be no second weigh-in:

    (see post below)

Right at the end Canelo-GGG is specifically mentioned.

OK so there is no Saturday morning weigh in. How big will Canelo want to get though? He wont want to be so big he is a static target but team Canelo saw the size of Jacobs and how close that fight was maybe that is what they are aiming for. But Canelo is built different to Jacobs. The Americans reach advantage added to the weight and power and the fact he was very good and light on his feet all contributed to keeping Golovkin off his toes all night. Canelo's arms are a good 10 centimeters shorter.

Are we all still pretending Canelo has a legitimate Middleweight title?
