Anyone else agree? I can't sit through an interview of his, he's so bland and monotone. I don't think he becomes a real star.
I agree. It's boring him trying to be his dad, whilst getting angry when people compare him to his dad . All around wanker. Can't wait for Groves to knock him out.
Jr can talk a good game, I think he does a great interview, I don't think he's bland at all in fact he is opinionated and has a bit of personality. The guy is confident and honest and I think he is great at mind games at the presser. Its funny how the likes of Blackwell, Spike and Quinlan etc have a lot to say on social media but face to face they were all speechless. George Groves is great at mind games but I bet Jr chews him up @ the presser Yildirim didn't take a backwards step at the presser though, nobody is going to make him take a backward step in the ring either
He's articulate and intelligent in interviews, if that constitutes boring... then yes he's boring. What's the alternative? Would you rather he be like "ye blood im gonna spark that geezer out innit"
If Jr had a good dance partner like a Groves or DeGale he will be very entertaining outside the ring. When he doesn't have that, I just see a confident fighter who speaks well and has a touch of arrogance that I like. Inside the ring, Jr is pure entertainment and has been maturing in recent fights. Good fighter to watch who has come on leaps and bounds since his channel 5 days.
I agree about the dance partner. When he's in these press conferences against non-English speaking opponents, there's obviously no back n forth banter so he may as well just talk to himself. Inside the ring, he's very entertaining, albeit against average opponents.
He can't be that boring if people keep on talking about him and new threads keep popping up on boxing forums every other day.
