Chins, or resistance to punches tends to deteriorate under repeated impact. So the chins both fighters are bringing to the fight might not be the exact chins that they brought to previous fights. It's really a matter of the degree to which both chins have deteriorated.

You do know that Canelo fights nothing like Hagler right? He has tiny Huevos, he was scared to walk down and bomb out friggin Cotto, he's always been safety first, and now against the most dangerous puncher he's ever faced, he's going to turn into the Terminator?

The element of surprise has a certain value that should not be underestimated.

The only one who'd be surprised using that tactic is Canelo, at how badly it would backfire, because he'll be knocked out cold using it.

I'm as zen as I could be, this is a Kell Brook level opponent for GGG, Canelo will be forever known as a heartless bum after tonight by everyone who backed him.

Ever hear of the boxer who was lying on the canvas staring up through thick cigarette smoke at the blurry arena lights amidst the deafening bedlam of audience screams, yells and shouts who was asked by the ref:

Do you know where you are?

Fighter eyes bulging: Sounds to me like I'm in hell!

Ref: Do you know who I am?

Fighter: You? You must be the Devil! Yyyyyaaaaaahhhhhh!

So does that mean you think Canelo will be stopped in the first half or at all?

This is GGG's coming out party, it wouldn't shock me in the least if he goes all out and ends it early.
