Well what else was he supposed to do? Like Tyson he only knew one way. If someone was good enough to make that fail there was no plan B.

Tyson physically took a good shot. His chin was tough. Sadly he had a Glass Mind. If his opponent started to score consistently it affected the other parts of Mike`s game. He tended to tighten up, start leaning and he lost that fluid motion that made him so great. Then he was basically just a 1 punch and grab bomber.

Frazier didn't have a notable size, reach and height advantage, so I assume you're being sarcastic there.

It was the correct strategy though ! And the Frazier who faced that "lesser Foreman" was the leastest Frazier !

I would hope my follow up post would have made it abundantly clear, not that it should have been needed LOL

Realistically Frazier's tactics weren't going to matter one iota. He's a great fighter and a warrior but Foreman is too much of a mountain. I firmly believe it would be the same for Tyson.

Yeah, I agree, no version of Frazier doing any tactics is lasting 15 rounds with Foreman, so it's going to end badly anyway. But he had to try !

And try he did. Great heart. It took more to drop Tyson but once he was dropped the fight was done. Frazier could bounce up and down like a yo yo lol

No, like you I'm a guy who found an article on the internet and posted. But unlike you I actually read both of the links, cause only idiots just parrot their own opinion and don't take into account other arguments.
