I think he knew he could easily make it and he wanted it to be fair for both parties.

They met in the middle in a way and we got a great fight. Kind of an outclass but still.

No, but he was already a pure 147 pounder, he was severely drained at 145. He looked dead in there.

And Floyd jumped up to face Canelo LOL, he fought Guerrero the fight before that!

Floyd has never weighed more than 151 in any weigh in.

Not only that, but Nelo came in at 153 too the fight before.

Canelo weight in at 160. His walk around weight is well over 160 pounds. He's bigger, stronger, more experienced and better than the Canelo who fought Mayweather.

If GGG beats him tonight his win over Canelo will be better than Mayweather's

Never say never. It's very possible still, even if Canelo wins tonight.

Yes but I have a feeling you wont be doing high risk after this

If I was in such a lead doing high risk could lose me the whole thing

yeah it would be better, but 20 times better? It would be better. Why 20 times? It would be a better win.

Was Salvador Sanchez green at the time of his death at the age of 23? He pretty much started his pro career the same age as Canelo! Also, do you honestly think fighting in the AM's until he was 20 would have made Canelo a better pro? In my opinion fighting at a higher level for a longer period of time makes one a better fighter. I'm sure you'll disagree with my logic!

    Don't entirely disagree.

My main point was that that version of Canelo was far from prime.

He's come a long way since then.
