credit to teddy, he didnt try and adjust what happened, to match him picking canelo to win... like others with less integrity are doing.
If you're referring to people here in terms of people having less integrity, then the bar isn't really that high to begin with lol.
integrity isnt dependent of a bar, you either ride with the truth or you dont, truth percentages dont matter.
I looked all over to get an outlook outside of this forum 8/10 newspapers had the fight 116-112 for Golovkin. One had it a draw and the LA Times had it 115-113 for Canelo. Almost everyone is saying that Golovkin was robbed. There have been too many of these lately. Every big fight this happens now. It's really ruining my enjoyment of the sport.
I posted right here that Byrd was corrupt! She has a history of corruption, bad decisions and guess what? Bob Bennett picked her! Bob Bennett who lied about Rigo's late punch, Rigo holding and hitting, he lied live on HBO and was proven so wrong that the knockout, which happened after the bell, was changed to a no contest! Bob Bennett also refused to review the video of SOB Ward punching Kovalev to the testicles, it clear, on video and still pictures, Kovalev was robbed in the first fight by the Vegas corrupt judges! Want to count how many times there have been corrupt decisions in Vegas?
And the LA Times has a huge Latino audience so it's no surprise they were the only newspaper to credit Canelo with the win. Gotta keep your buyers happy!
Teddy Atlas is a frickin joke. He literaelly scored the fight 118-110 for Golovkin, while criticizing Bryd for the exact same score for the other guy. When literally everybody else had it 6-6, 7-5, or 8-4 max. How can you seriously take Atlas seriously he's screaming corruption but he had the fight that everyone thought was close as wide as the judge he was criticizing. Talk about hypocrisy.
I used to dislike Teddy Atlas because he's often full of it and loves the camera too much, as he even embarrassed Michael Grant when he was training him so he could be seen on camera giving him a 'motivational speech' instead of doing it in the locker room. But he's grown on me in the last couple of years and now I just find him amusing. Still an overrated trainer, but his crazy meltdowns and bizarre analogies now just make me laugh.
