I get very unreasonable when I see nationalistic/ethnic privilege used to discriminate against others.

Right, because all those Mexican judges gave Canelo the nod. I got you.

Incoming "Conspiracy Theorist" jabs. Although that **** won't work for THEM quite as well after this fight.

Agree with this. He won easily but doesn't have crazy power anymore. It was evident in the Brook fight.

Also I think Canelo is hard to knock down or out. He is a horse with a chin.

I will be honest, I know the question was not to me but many of those rounds I was following twitter as I watched it, and they were saying GGG round, yet I saw Canelo landing cleaner punches.. GGG was moving forward and throwing, but he was not landing punches clean. Canelo was very good at avoiding punches, especially the right at the beginning of exchanges, he would just turn his head away from it. I think moving in the beginning of the fight made him tired later..I think in the second fight he knows GGG better now and might not move as much on his feet and might stand there and conserve his energy.. He hit GGG better than GGG hit him, that is for sure. If that means he did better no, but he did hit GGG cleaner than GGG hit him.

So the draw decision was unjust?

I don't think he hit him better or cleaner. It was clear he couldn't fight toe to toe and had to get on his bike. Canelo could only trade in spurts. When the replay or torrents are up, you'll see GGG blocking a lot of those supposedly clean shots that Roy Jones was screaming about.

It's a combination of several things, and two of them are age-related.

-----> Less cardio to press full-out for 3 minutes over 12 rounds --------> aging
-----> Reflexes not quite as good now (misses more shots) --------------> aging
-----> Movement by the opponent so GGG can't set his feet to punch

Movement can deter GGG's power, at least Past Prime GGG's power.

No one is going to win a shoot out with even Past Prime GGG (not the current version, anyways). Any strategy to defeat him, then, has to involve heavy movement.

As Brook tried to do, as Jacobs did rounds 6-12, and as Canelo did tonight.

I'd agree, no dynamism, no mixing it up, poor timing.. He's fading but his pressure & jab & champion mentality pull him through. Not the force he was. Canelo is a young smaller more elusive fighter so that takes adjustment's too. Brook was the same.. Being the bigger man isn't always a positive, it has negatives! Byrd could make big men look silly!

Canelo, Jacobs, Brook, Lemieux... He can walk off & hold his head high now. I'd go Saunders & then out! I'd steer clear of Oscar

Even GGG was saying he ran too much to "make exciting fight for fans..."

GGG's power was there. Otherwise, Canelo would have kept the fight in the middle like he did against Chavez. He was being forced to the ropes all night. However, he is good enough to avoid and counter shots, which kept him around for 12 rounds. It's less about GGG's power, and more about Canelo's skills.

No mate he is, he's probably ageing gradually fight by fight now tho. The margins narrow as you step up in class too.. Same happened with Tyson.

A draw yes. A win it should have been.

a draw was fair, but i would concede that 3g had the marginal edge sincehe was aggressor. A dancer on the other hand, has to work more if he wants a clear win.
