    I actually can't believe when I heard it but yeah. First 2 rounds where close but Canelo edged them. But after that Golovkin was just pressuring, fighting for every minute of every round while Canelo fought in spots. The more eye catching shots came from Alvarez but they where never sustained while Golovkin put in solid work and never really let go of the pressure.

    But I had it something like 7-5 golovkn or 8-4 can't remember really. But there's no way in hell Canelo did enough to win 10 out of 12 rounds.

    With that said, terrific fight and I would really want to watch it again.

    It sounds like Erik Morales had it 117-111 for Canelo (see video on page 3 of this thread). That's the closest to Byrd's card I've heard.

    Chavez Jr stated that Canelo landed the more significant punches. There ya go.

    Oh and Chavez Sr had Canelo winning clearly.

    Steve Lillis and Amir Khan had it about 116-112 I think for Golovkin. Gary Locket had it 115-113 GGG.

    I started to follow boxing at the time Oscar was starting his pro career and he was probably the biggest reason why i fell loved with boxing game. It's disgusting to realise that Oscar (GBP) is the one who killed my passion for boxing.

    Why would anyone put theit interest, time or money to fights that are clearly fixed and biased in the first place?

    I wont pay to see a rematch just because it would support corruption and the dirty business behind Golden boy promotion.

    Well Jr said Canelo landed the more significant punches. Jr sounded unsure to be completely honest lol. He said he needed to review the fight on TV lol.

    Good stuff, thanks. I heard him say he thought GGG won, but if he changes his mind after watching it on TV then I'll update it!

    Trout has GGG winning, hasn't given a score. It's something when Canelo's past opponents who were picking him to beat Golovkin actually have Golovkin winning clearly (Khan, Liam Smith)
