51-7-4! That is the press and boxing vote. 51 say GGG won and your arguing draw and going against the numbers by saying two rounds you felt were close when the punches landed say otherwise? Did you see the thread on all people who scored and voted? I did not say the LA times is racist, but they are biased here. So is oscar de la Hoya and Eric morales. Look who they felt won or drew!
Yes. This is why I think an Alvarez card would be bad. But, as I said, I'm not arguing for an Alvarez victory. I'm arguing that your claim that it's the worst draw in a generation is ridiculous. This is because a slim majority saw a close fight. That is, more people ringside saw it a draw, for Alvarez, or 115-113 for Golovking than saw it "clear" for Golovkin, by which I mean 116-112 or better. So, if you are suddenly so numbers orientated, answer me this: why are you going against these numbers? No i'm not. I'm arguing that a draw isn't that bad. That's all i've said - try to read and understand please. Well, for example, in one of these rounds you're shouting about, Alvarez landed more power punches. But that doesn't matter - punchstats are just a guide. Every time there's a close result on this forum both sides jump all over the punchstats like they're the most important thing. They're not. Did you see the post I made where I said that a slender majority of ringsiders had it very close?
Show me a worse draw in this high profile of a fight? We'll see how many years you have to go back. Its seems like you are arguing the draw was okay. No its was not. If you think Canelo won, say so do not hide behind " some felt is was close ". The numbers I am using are the rounds where judges gave it to Canelo where GGG landed nearly double the amount of punches. Sorry, but no such round without a knockdown or one guy being badly hurt where the fighter landed half as less should go to him! Yet the judges gave two such rounds to Canelo to save him and make sure he did not lose.
No a draw is a fullway robbery if the better man got robbed of being the undisputed champion, Like Lewis - Holyfield 1.
thats a terrible comparison. However a draw is a fair result nevermind your zeal. You'd think you'd have got used to your heroes sometimes not winning when you followed Wladdie for years.
Then there's no problem. It's not that bad. It was ok and i've explained why. A majority of ringsiders had it very close 113-115, 114-114 or 115-113. This is the most common banding of score. I've asked you three times why you keep ignoring this; you never answer. Yeah, I would say so. There's no reason for me to "hide behind" anything on an internet forum, and even less reason for me to hide from you. If there was to be a winner, it should have been Golovkin. I can't find seven rounds for Alvarez having watched that twice. I do, however, think that you can find six.
Very, very overexcited. Partly it's that Golovkin is come forward, and that always confuses people who don't score rbr.

More likely had it 116-112 than 114-114. The majority by a huge margin felt GGG won. " Yeah, I would say so. There's no reason for me to "hide behind" anything on an internet forum, and even less reason for me to hide from you. " Good to know you get GGG won, but stop defending this crappy judging. You do it too often, " f there was to be a winner, it should have been Golovkin. I can't find seven rounds for Alvarez having watched that twice. I do, however, think that you can find six. " I do not think you can find six fairly for Canelo.
Here: more ringsiders had it very close than not. This is very simple. How do you explain it? There was only ONE crappy card. And I've never defended it. 114-114 was ONE POINT from the most common score from ringsiders. How do you explain it?
@McGrain, Apart from the scoring, where we hold different opinions, what did you think of the overall quality of the fight ? Did it live up to expectations ?
Yeah, I really enjoyed it. Then again, I had just watched BJS-Monroe, and anything was going to look magical after that.
Willie just never seemed to get going there. Or at a minimum, left it too late. The GGG Canelo bout had some of the more enjoyable exchanges I've seen in a while. Great stuff from both men.
