Would they both beat GGG by decision by outworking him? I don't think GGG knocks out everybody in the history of MW, he has the power to do it though. Like if Canelo stood and fought, last night he would have been knocked out.

He knocks out both Hearns, Duran at MW. I don't care what anybody says about that. SRL has the movement to beat him. Hagler vs GGG is whoever withstands the others arsenal whilst keeping out of range. I favour GGG in that bout because of the jab.

It would be very ignorant for someone to always favour an older fighter over a modern one. But what do you mean when you say: slower, less boxing educated, and less technically sound?

why? he was hit clean several times and basically mocked 3G for it.

Canelo fought WHILST moving. Why should he stand and fight when he can move and fight?

Has GGG ever taken shots as hard as the ones Mayweather took against Mosley and Maidana?

Didn't Maidana knock off a shard off his tooth he hit him so hard? Two massive shots right on the mouth by two big punchers and he didn't go anywhere.
When has Golovkin shown a better chin ?.. Lets see if fanatical Rock can answer that one ..

I'm saying, today's boxers even sub-par ones are better fundamentally than some of the greatest boxers of that era. You rarely saw skills back in those days, just fisticuffs were they threw hayemakers into one another until the contest was over. Head-movement was non-existent. There was a few exceptions of course, but the majority of those bouts would have been amateur fights. As most of the level of competition back than was pretty damn awful, not even Wilder victim level.

Floyds head came into the shot as well , doubling the power of the blow. . Lets see what the Golovkin fanatics come up with...

Whatever dude. You're downplaying Hagler's chin and Hearns' power but hey whatever.

Hagler would take GGG's punches. He fought punchers like Hearns and Mugabi.

Hearns wasn't a hard puncher at MW. Mugabi wasn't a legit MW neither.

GGG's chin just isn't fair. He walked through every single flush shot Canelo through completely unfazed. Couple that with that ridiculous engine of his I can't see any current for fighter beating him, Ward would give him trouble tho
