I said it was very rare to see skill back in those days. Even the most skilful of boxers back than lost to dodgy decisions, and whatever else the Mafia needed doing. Like most of those records are padded to hell, as most of the fights were fixed.

    Anyone can get KO'd.

With prime GGG, it would be nearly impossible to KO him via chin shots alone.

But if he were worked properly to the body, who knows.

Or, if he got overly fatigued, he could go like Foreman in Zaire.

Canelo landed some very tasty body shots as well. It was partly due to them that Golovkin seemed more tired at the end of this than against Jacobs, but he seemed in no danger whatsoever of being stopped.

Gee, I could have sworn that I heard GGG fans saying that Canelo is only able to KO tomato cans like chandelier-chinned Kirkland, Alfredo Angulo and Amir Khan. Must have been my imagination since now they are elevating GGG's chin to mythological greatness because it stood up to Canelo's punches. :risas3:

Explain how G has a greater chin than Mayweather? You can't because you can't backup your fanboysim with anything of substance.
Guys like you are the reason why Golovkin fans have a bad reputation.

10 guys off the top of my head who are in a different class when it comes to chin

    Carl Froch
    Chris Eubank Sr
    Abraham
    Tim Bradley
    Danny Garcia
    Tony Bellew
    Joe Calzaghe
    Marquez
    Manny Pacquiao
    Chavez Jr

Thats an easy 10 without even going too far back and not even touching on heavy weights.

    That's a gross exaggeration.

There were plenty of skilful fighters, even in the 20's.

he does have a great chin.. may be the best chin I ever seen lol.. some shots he took from Jacobs and didn't even flinch it was like Damn... and canelo power may not be JACOBS/LEMIOUX but canelo is still a solid 6/10 in power department.

No, I don't think you heard that from any serious fan.

Canelo's power is not at GGG level but he has very good, one punch KO power, and has demonstrated it more than once.

Nobody before last night, has walked through his best flush punches.

    ps

I'm getting more than a bit pi$$ed off with this site's spellchecker, and having to go back and change Cannel to Canelo !

I don't get into all that rating things all time malarkey but he has an iron chin and it definitely deserves to be in the discussion for the best chin in boxing right now. Guy's a ******* machine. He is one seriously tough hombre.

But from what I have seen he is getting older but his stamina is incredible and Canelo hit him with a lot of solid body shots and it didn't affect him in the slightest, the only way anyone can beat Golovkin is to win on points and even that is difficult as he is a good boxer with relentless pressure.
