This is Canelo in his absolute prime, fully back by commission and everything in his favor.
He could not beat or even get a 'credible draw' against GGG who's clearly not the same fighter he was few years ago.

So all of you who bashed Triple G over the years and continue to bash him just remember this: this version of Canelo is a notch below him and a full level below prime Golovkin.

Prime GGG couldn't put a beating on a smaller guy who only fought for 1 minute of every round.

37 year old Sergio lays Canelo OUT.

Neither guy looked significantly better than the other and Canelo was the smaller guy with less fire power.

Really he looked liked **** versus Macklin Barker & Murray & almost got kayoed by Junior.

Canelo has gone the distance with GGG, Floyd, Cotto, Lara, Junior.. Evidence suggests otherwise. 50 fights! Silly talk. Alvarez has a mandible! Poor post from a refugee.

Martinez got destroyed by Cotto looolll

Smaller? He looked like a Cruiser weight with really really short legs.

It's better than I originally had thought. A few years ago I wonder what exactly was the hype with him. He's improved and he's a good fighter with solid skills. He has certain limitations (stamina, slow feet, modest power) that will cost him, and which I felt were the main reasons he lost on Saturday, but the judges didn't agree.

37 year old Sergio only started boxing at 22. 15 years with 40 amateur fights.
GGG turned amateur 15 years ago and managed 350 amateur fights + his pro career.

What I'm trying to say is, Sergio was in his prime aged 37, GGG's prime was long ago.
