GGG made canelo miss alot too guys. I thought ggg won easy

 

All the BS here trying to justify the scoring. Think about all judges gave the last 3 rounds to Canelo! That was the only thing that made it close.

 

GGG won 6, 2 even, 4 Alvarez. GG has lost a step & is ageing now but he won that. Bit of a let down fight, didn't live up to the hype, style wise it was odd too, the Mexican high output, front foot volume combination puncher was doing a fairly passable FMJ impersonation running or laying on the ropes & GG (though he clearly won IMO looked a little like Klitschko versus Jennings's, he's lost a step & can't pull the trigger anymore it seems) maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist but it looked a bit staged to me, GG wasn't throwing, mixing it up & had no pop on his shots, Alvarez was backing off too much! GG again (see Jacobs) won by effective aggression & ring generalship & via the jab! Was funny watching the Mexicans boo Alvarez & social media is tearing that whole golden boy team up, Byrd you are incompetent & the fix was in probably long before they both got in the ring, Oscar you corrupt ****! Dunno, was it fixed, I feel bad for thinking GG has that in him! He seems a man of integrity! GG should go for a Saunders fight now & then call it a day. He still had his belts so it could have been worse. Roll on Loma v Rigo at the garden in December is all I can say! This stunk

I had golovkin eeking out decision, winning majority of middle rounds when i watched it live.
Have it 3-3 thru 6 on the the replay...

9th to GGG. 5-4 Triple G

Canelo 10th. 5-5 even tho he gassed i think he landed harder & cleaner overall. Ggg relentless though.

Gave. Nelo 11th. Cleanee shots 6-5 nelo

12th to GGG. Both landed good shots.
But GGG comimg foward like he did the whole fight. 6-6 draw.

Overall this was not the typical boxer vs puncher.

This was triple G coming forward to land his jab, but canelo with cleaner harder shots.

I can see GGG winning, didnt think canelo did enough to steal it even tho he did land the cleaner harder shots. But i prefer GGG come forward mexican style. To nelo's cutie counter-pumching boxing.

 

I felt GGG won 7-5 or 8-4. I was worried it was put up the way Max Kellerman was making excuses for Canelo. Normally Max is very fair but he has been corrupted like a politician who's been in Washington to long. All that being said I thought it was a very entertaining fight and was happy I bought it right up until the decision.

 

He clearly did. Not even close

I wanted to score a couple of rounds even but also wanted to think like a judge would score it. I dont think they score many even rounds. A draw or ggg by a round or 2 because he was coming forward & scoring the jab more consistently than Canelo.
It just hard to give a Win to GGG on the stregnth of the jab alone.

 

That's pretty much how I did see it last night. I will re-score it later.

 

Great fight, compliments to both fighters. I watched the fight live, going into it I thought GGG was going to KO Canelo but when the fight ended I thought it would be judged a draw. Could have gone either way depending wether you thought Glolovkin was effective with his agression. I don't fell as though it was a robbery, but that 10 to 2 card was ridiculous. I did mention Holyfield v Lewis 1 to my friends as an example of what usually happens in big fights like this, it is a business after all. Oh well, looks like a rematch on May 5 2018. It's only gonna get harder for Golovkin due to his age.

GGG put a lot of pressure but Canelo landed the , eye opening shots

It was a close fight either way that deserves a rematch

Canelo fought in spurts but GGGs pressure was constant and he was applying the pressure through out the fight

the uk broadcasting team all had Golovkin winning and the usa team had the same is that a coincidence?

This wasnt close at all, this was as much a beatdown as Trump destroying Hillary Clinton in Electoral votes.
