He was too busy landing power shots. Even so most of GGG's jabs were falling short. So they really played no significant part in the fight.

Yeah I think he did. He was not in any trouble in the fight and punched at least as hard as GGG. Great fight of both of them

no he didnt slaughter it. 3G proved he can draw with a probable elite.

Therefore Canelo advanced his case for being elite himself. Not as completely as had he won, but its a much stronger case than he had previously.

Absolutely...for the second time. Outboxed him, hurt him and basically just pummeled GGG from pillar to post for the duration of the fight. This was masterclass from Alvarez save the moments he'd have to regain his wind.

If canelo had fought the full three minutes of everyround he would have killed GGG. canelo need to work on his stamina.

Another HBO hype job goes down and a myth busted. GGG is nothing but a puncher. Dont believe the hype.

GGG threw it much more, landed more, landed at a higher %, and kept Canelo on the back foot for the majority of the fight.

I'm not sure how you define "controlling the fight with the jab", but that ticks the boxes I have for it.

Hell no. Canelo was getting walked down like a victim in a Friday the 13th movie. He just also happens to be an overly c0cky punk, so his body language says something else.

    Jacobs did it better.

Canelo proved how great GGGs jab really is and that at the elite level GGG still has great defense.
