Did Canelo slaughter the mystique behind GGG being the boogeyman?

They both were built up to be above average so if Canelo made him look average then he definitely made Canelo look the same way.

I don't think Nelo did that. I think Jacobs did. But your account of "easy work" is interesting to say the least. Alvarez was working extremely hard to mitigate risk for 12 rounds and had only marginal success. He was outlanded and out worked on every level. Easy work was what Floyd did to him when they fought. Canelo had a tough night. GGG controlled the fight fight from a perspective of pace, tempo and distance. He countered just as well as Nelo but out worked him throughout the fight. I think the biggest burn for Alvarez was losing the support of the pro Canelo crowd after the cards were read and hearing the boos. I think he realize they knew he lost clearly which is a hard pill to swallow for someone who has always been the crowd favorite

simply, those number were ****. I payed a lot of attention to both jabs, and that's impossible that gg outjabbed canelo by much. For every single jab that gg truly connected, there was a jab from canelo connecting too. That compubox is BS, like always, they put monkeys there pressing the buttons.

Canelo truly showed me that he has a gift for backing up.

I thought Triple G won but yes I think Jacobs and now Canelo (and more importantly Father Time) have diminished Golovkin's aura of invincibility. He is 35 and from here it will only get harder. However to be fair Canelo is a good fighter and Triple G chased him all over the ring. I think he still has enough in the tank for 1-2 more wins against top comp. then he will lose for sure

GGG the Boogyman scared Fraunelo into backing up the whole fight and only fighting to survive for the majority of the fight.

I would say Jacobs already did that.

I disagree. He outboxed him in spots, but was also outboxed himself the majority of the fight. A lot of fans who are rationalizing for Canelo's performance and the outcries of getting a gift with a draw by saying he outboxed GGG. Reality is he fought well in spots. He didn't outbox Golovkin for 36 mins like Floyd did to him when they faced each other. GGG countered Nelo more and landed more. Ring generalship was owned by GGG last night...dictating the pace, tempo and distance for at least 66% of the fight.

Golovkin didnt do ****, but to miss the whole night long. He couldnt cut the ring, he couldnt counter canelo consistently, he couldnt hit canelo's body, he couldnt land his jab consistently withouth being jabbed or countered too.... The only thing he could do was to chase and throw and throw and throw praying for hitting 1 out of 10 hits. Ok, it's ok to win rounds like that, but that has nothing to do with talent or boxing skills. The way canelo got out of the ropes whenever he wanted was so easy that is was laughable, gg looked like a midget with no feet at all.

It was canelo the one dictating what was going to happen in the ring, whether they fight or not, whether they trade or not. The problem, I repeat, is that this lazy ginger azz didnt want to work yesterday, and left gg out of the hook. They could have fought 15 rounds more, and still gg wouldnt have hurt canelo.

A 35 year old who has been doing VADA for 3 years goes the distance with two young, strong boxers that do not do VADA and still makes them run all night and takes at least 8 rounds from both.
