The way I see it, Canelo should be the #1 contender for the WBO MW title since he moved up from JrMW as the WBO champion. If GGG tries to duck the rematch he will have no choice but to fight Canelo for the WBO title and Ring Title. If GGG is smart he fights Canelo in May or September.
GGG already said he wants the rematch as soon as possible, Canelo is the one who isn't sure about when. I've already said I don't blame Canelo if he wants an interim, but please, this post is ill-informed.
GGG ducking canelo ?LMAO. canelo put the fight off for 2-3 years and you got the nerve to make a post saying GGG may duck canelo? ugh some of the posters on here deserve a ban for stupidity I swear -.-
1st Canelo won the MW title in 11/2015 Not sure where you get 2-3 years Second, its your GGGoon buddies claiming Golovkin doesnt want the rematch.
Uh you should be outraged Canelo who's 27 in his prime only fights twice a year, he won't be back until May? Pathetic.
This... Canelo said he would be back May or September of next year... wtf is that... Just waiting for GGG to be another year older and eventually all the advantages they get, whether drug testing, weigh ins and judges will lead to a win.
You're embarrassing yourself, log out, have a rest and come back without the poor attempts at face saving and trolling. "If GGG tries to DUCK a rematch.." You are losing any credibility you may have had by coming out with such utter nonsense.
GGG already said he wants the rematch but Nelo declined. He said he's taking time off until may or September 2018 until he fights again. He's probably going to only fight once a year at this point. Alvarez said he would only fight GGG again if it's in demand by the fans which means we will have to wait another 12 months to see the sequel. They should have a fight in between just so they stay sharp because both men need to be at the top of their game to beat the other. I think both were fully prepared for this fight with all the motivation they could need to actually get up for the fight on Saturday. It was a great fight. The outcome was a shame but the fight itself was a boxing classic. This will be a trilogy at the end of the day where these two are tied together in boxing history
You know, I know, We know, the world knows but @IsaL obviously doesn't know. Oscar/Canelo want the rematch well in to next year, they have said May or September but you can bet your last penny if GGG does not agree to sit around for 8-12 months and wait patiently like a good boy and decides to fight BJS for all the belts then comedians like @IsaL will be straight in here declaring it a "duck".
