    So that was Kelleraman? I thought it was RJJ who was praising Canelo.

    BTW
    I once saw this wildlife documentary where zebras, wildebeests, and caped buffalo were all furiously stampeding past this solitary black Rhino who was passively observing from the sidelines as the menagerie of beasts, seemingly hell-bent on going somewhere, frantically thundered by in swirling clouds of African Savanah dust. After about five minutes of calm, quiet observation, the black Rhino decided he couldn't resist the impelling urge to herd any longer and just plunged right into the swirling mindless smorgasbord of flying legs and perspiring asses and goring horns. So Kellerman certainly is in good company. :risas3:

    Both were. Kellerman disagreed with Lederman giving Round 1 to G for example. Kellerman stated he gave the first 3 rounds to Canelo if I recall.

    Apparently these people have made their thoughts known on the fight. Hoping others can help me find what they said so I can add them to the list:

    Paulie M -------------------------------------> Got it!
    Al Bernstein ---------------------------------> Got it!
    Roy Jones -----------------------------------> Got it!
    Virgil Hill (or maybe it's Virgil Hunter)
    Lomachenko
    Usyk

    If you know what they said and where they said it, please post that in this thread.

    Al Bernstein and Paulie both had Golovkin winning.

    Paulie said that although Canelo had some really good spurts, they are not enough to win the rounds.

    I just want to point out that Paulie's tweet that you posted was a response to a tweet from @BoxingUncut that stated "You have to understand @PaulMalignaggi is the same analyst who said Canelo wouldn't last 6 rounds".

    Paulie flat out predicted G was going to knock out Canelo in 6 rounds. When you make that kind of a prediction, and you're proven wrong, it's no surprise that you then argue that the guy you thought would win won. For Paulie to say that there's no logical way that you could think Canelo won the fight is embarrassing lol. I really think Paulie is still rattled from that McGregor sparring session and aftermath.

    Doesn't surprise me, Jack knows how to be on the end of some dirty cards.

    I don't know if you already mentioned ... Mosley had it for GGG by a couple of rounds. He did a round by round on twitter.

    Yep, Malignaggi is losing credibility, he gave Canelo virtually no chance beforehand and for him to say there's not logical way to score for Canelo is laughable.
    No logical way to score for the fighter that landed with the cleaner and harder blows because the other fighter was busier?????

    Teddy Atlas in his tirade after the fight lost a credibitly just a few minutes after his tirade by going on a rant that Canelo purposely waited for Golovkin to get old, then pointed out that two years ago Golovkin would have knocked him clean out.
    When you start going off on a tangent like that, then you know where his rooting interest were at.

    The fight was competive and the rounds were close, but I feel not enough credit is being given to Canelo's defense which kept Golovkin from connecting with his right hand.
    Canelo nullified Golovkin's right hand.
    As well, Canelo landed heavy on Golovkin's body. Body work that Golovkin himself was void of doing.
    Canelo was landing that uppercut, and in the process, Golovkin decided it wasn't in his best interest to go to the body and be straightened up by Canelo's uppers.

    So much work and nuances to the fight Canelo isn't being credited for simply because people have decided that coming forward wins fights.

    I like what Chavez Sr. said about Canelo's performance by stating that he liked Canelo's all around game, defense, counterpunching, and in vital spurts aggressiveness in going toe to toe with Golovkin. Chavez went out to point out that the only critique he had of Canelo's performance was the fact he could have been a little busier in closing the rounds, had he done that he would have left no doubt in the minds of the judges who often put more weight on work done at the end of a round and forget about the earlier portions of the round.
