...I don't know why, "GGG is going to knock Canelo spark out" they said, "this is going to be an easy fight" they said, but it turned out to be anything but, there wasn't a mark on Canelo's face, yet GGG's face has swollen up to the size of a medicine ball. Predictably, now they are blaming the judges, we knew GGG fans would make excuses after the fight, and now they don't even want to see a rematch, they'd rather he took an easy fight against BJS than face the toughest opponent out there. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see GGG punch BJS into next week, but c'mon, this is a rematch fight if ever I saw one!
Jacobs-BJS winner vs GGG-Canelo. If GGG or Canelo don't get to brutalize BJS, I'd like to see Jacobs do it.
Why would they be scared... he beat him once he can do it again. I think Canelo actually gave the best account of himself he ever will in the first fight.
Actually it's Canelo who isn't sure about the immediate rematch, Golovkin and his team have been very clear that the sooner is the better.
I doubt anyone is scared for GGG in a rematch. Canelo scored some points, but never had GGG in any danger at all. GGG stalked and hunted the entire fight. Canelo was treading water most of the fight, with his head barely above. If anyone should be afraid to repeat it, it should be Canelo.
I am not sure if either fighter wants a rematch for sure. Both Canelo and GGG felt they were robbed and deserved the decision. Judging by the comments they want to fight someone else first. I though GGG outworked Canelo but Canelo had the cleaner punches. Great fight. Not sure what GGG will look like in a year though.
OP is dense. Canelo's team wants a rematch in May or September NEXT YEAR Golovkin is aging by the second, like hell he's going to hang around rusting away waiting for His Highness. ******ed thread.
Sauders won't go into the same time zone as Jacobs. I hear he has his heart now set on a mega fight with Khan, LOL.
