GGG fans are AFRAID of the rematch...

    Maybe not you personally, but there is another thread with a poll, where only 4 people have voted that they want to see GGG fight Canelo next. Most of the rest of them would rather he fought BJS (10 votes), and there are several votes for other guys.

    And seeing as the GGG fans way outnumber the Canelo fans on here, it surprises me how few fans want the rematch.

    They could do it December if they really wanted to imho. Christ, in the old days the fighters used to fight as much as twice a month and it's not as if these two are really marked up.

    Why are you surprised?
    Canelo got a gift draw, with one card being an atrocity! GGG isn't getting a fair shake in Vegas, period. I don't want GBP or Canelo to get that W by robbery.

    Canelo fought the best possible fight for him and was still manhandled. He's gonna lose every time against Golovkin : you don't suddenly develop strong stamina or the kind of power it takes to hurt Golovkin at 27 years old, at least not without roiding. In a rematch, GGG won't respect Canelo's power and will win even more convincingly. I'd rather watch GGG against Saunders or Cotto at this point.

    It'll happen on Cinco de Mayo to fatten each man's bank account like a Miyazaki steer, and GGG will probably take a fight in the meantime to stay sharp. Wheres the worry?

    Exactly, GGG is going to need a judge from his own country to win the fight.

    I don't remember anyone saying after the Lewis-Holyfield or Eubank-Benn fights that we don't need a rematch (or any other draw for that matter).

    Yet this time, apparently we don't need a rematch. GGG fans have really changed their tune!

    It was a close fight, I had Canelo winner, I respect other people's opinion that GGG won (although they are clearly wrong), so let's do it again!

    I mean, they could, but you know they stick to May and September. This is nothing new and Golovkin is no exception.

    December is too soon by today's standards, training, and promotion. They will take a month off, then have a 2 month training camp.
